Hello, I am writing to provide honest feedback regarding my recent vehicle purchase experience at your dealership. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I feel it is important to share thi regarding my recent vehicle purchase experience at your dealership. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I feel it is important to share this experience so it can be addressed internally. I initially worked with a sales manager named David. From the beginning, I felt much of our communication was misleading and unnecessarily difficult. During multiple phone conversations, David repeatedly talked over me. I addressed this directly with him, and while he did apologize each time afterward, it continued to happen and made communication frustrating rather than productive. I was upfront that the main reason I reached out was because the vehicle was priced lower than comparable listings elsewhere. I also made it clear that I live a significant distance away and wanted to complete as much of the process remotely as possible. While I was told that online sales were not an option, I asked to at least complete items such as the credit application and paperwork ahead of time. I was assured that if I came in, I would be in the dealership for no more than 45 minutes. In reality, I was there for over three hours. When I requested a price breakdown before arriving, David refused, stating that it “didn’t make sense” to provide one because I might take the offer to other dealerships closer to me. This response was disappointing, as my intention was transparency, not shopping the deal. Regarding pricing, I initially asked for $1,000 off the vehicle and for any pre-installed options to be included. The $1,000 discount was quickly declined, which I understood. David then stated he would see what he could do regarding the installed options, which he indicated totaled a little over $1,000. Hours later, after reviewing the window sticker myself, I realized those options were already included in the vehicle price. This was a clear miscommunication that left me feeling misled, though I chose to move forward anyway. It was not until much later that David disclosed additional items — a theft deterrent and paint protection — that were already installed. These were not listed online, not shown on the window sticker, and had not been mentioned previously. I was told the best he could do was sell these at cost, approximately $900. While I had no interest in these products, I agreed to move forward based on the out-the-door price he later emailed to me, which was approximately $48,000. The following day, I arrived as planned and was handed off to Moises, who was professional, respectful, and helpful throughout the process. Moises was the only person who made me feel genuinely welcomed, and I have no complaints about his service. The issues resurfaced in the finance department. When I reviewed the paperwork, the out-the-door price was suddenly over $51,000. I immediately showed the finance manager the emails and texts from David. He appeared surprised and noticed that the paint and theft products were now being charged at full price instead of the agreed-upon cost. A manager eventually stepped in and stated he would honor the original agreement, which I appreciated. However, even after this, confusion continued. During the final paperwork, I noticed the theft deterrent had been removed entirely without explanation in order to reach the agreed price. This was never clearly communicated to me. No one explained what the theft product actually was, how it worked, or helped set it up. I only caught this because I carefully reviewed the documents again. While I am ultimately satisfied that the vehicle was sold at the price including the theft/paint we agreed upon, the process to get there was stressful, time-consuming, and unnecessarily complicated. I made it clear beforehand that I was traveling a long distance, and had the pricing not been honored, I would have walked away after wasting an entire day.
