I was referred to Grossinger by a friend and I already knew the car that I wanted when I went in there, a 2010 Chevy Aveo. I was met by Mike and Leonard and they were so helpful and friendly. After a week of traveling to various dealerships in the northern Illinois area, it was very refreshing to visit Grossinger Chevrolet of Palatine. Darrick was very professional, courteous and very willing to help. He asked what me what I was looking for, what price I wanted to stay in, and what options I absolutely wanted in my new vehicle. When I told him I was also looking at a similar vehicle at their sister dealership in the city, he offered to go down to the city dealer and bring the car back up to the Palatine lot so I could look at both cars side by side and make a direct comparison. I was able to see both cars at the same time and test drive them in the same visit. The ability to do this not only made my decision easy, but also gave me peace of mind that I made the right decision. Not only did Darrick go down to the other dealership, and convince them to let him bring the car back to the Palatine dealership, but he drove down to get the car on his day off. This really impressed me (as I only found out after the fact) and showed me that he was willing to do what was best for the customer. After agreeing on a price that I was comfortable with, I worked with Fred Kodroff of the finance team. Even though I had already negotiated a low apr with my bank, he offered to quote apr's from a few other banks and was able to find an even lower apr for me. It was a pleasure to work with the associates of Grossinger Chevrolet in Palatine; I appreciate their assistance in finding a terrific car and offering me a great deal that I was very comfortable with. My sales man Mike Momon was not only the nicest salesman I have ever dealt with, he also took better care of me than anyone I have ever dealt with anywhere! He got my exactly what I was looking for in the price range that was comfortable for me. I did some internet pricing and negotiating and we cut to the chase. The vehicle price was perfect, Rudy the finance manager I know went beyond the call of duty to get me financed. Not only that but the finance rate was very low. They were very patient with me and made sure I was satisfied. There service department staff are very nice and proffesional. Marco made sure I was taken care of, shuttle was ready to take me to work when I needed to bring my car in to have an accesory installed. There valet people are the best, great respectful workers. My experience in grossinger is like nothing I have experienced in a dealer. There level of quality is among the best and make you feel welcomed. During the buying process Keith actually showed me numbers.. yes numbers.. lots of dealers like to hide those numbers and make you buy by taking "their word" Not Keith he was straight up with me and I appreciated that.
