I was especially pleased by the complementary Lyft shuttle and the super car wash. That was a very nice touch. Despite that, I am very unhappy with this service call. I brought my 2018 Volt in f shuttle and the super car wash. That was a very nice touch. Despite that, I am very unhappy with this service call. I brought my 2018 Volt in for 2 things - an oil change and tire rotation. I had a $20 coupon and expected a bill around $150 max. But the Service Rep Chris called to tell me that I was far behind on the "scheduled maintenance", and listed off $1200 worth of additional work that was "overdue and really needed to be done". When I asked why the monthly emails I get from Chevy OnStar had never said anything about any of these "required scheduled" maintenance items, he said that those emails ONLY mention oil life and don't list every service required. He told me that most of these items should have been done at the 30,000 mile mark, and I was already at 45,000. I agreed to those additional services based on his assertion that they were NECESSARY to maintain my vehicle in good condition. Imagine my surprise when I later reviewed the scheduled maintenance items in the owner's manual and found that the only required services at or before 30,000 miles were the engine oil/filter replacement and tire rotation (which are what I brought the car in for) and the cabin air filter. At 45,000 miles the only additional item was replacing the engine air filter. In fact, the Owner's Manual maintenance schedule does not even mention the need for several of the other scheduled maintenance items I paid for. This is the first time I brought my vehicle to Montebello Chevy for service. I brought it in for 2 minor service items that should have totaled around $150, and somehow I left with a bill over $1300. I trusted Chris and took his recommendations for service. He never mentioned that most of these other service items were not required by Chevy, but were simply "recommended by the dealer". I feel betrayed, and do not plan to return to Montebello Chevy. What a spectacular rip-off. Ken Klein UNHAPPY Chevy owner More

What a joke! Got there around 4:25 for the service. I just need to order some accessories and installation. The guy name Christopher said the service closed already at 4:30pm and asked me to come back to just need to order some accessories and installation. The guy name Christopher said the service closed already at 4:30pm and asked me to come back tomorrow..... The website says 5pm, I called to the dealer just to confirm, surely the receptionist also said 5pm. I am very upset!! Nice way to lose a customer!! 👏🏻 Also emailed to the GM, I wonder how the management will react to this type of situation. More
xxxx service recently purchased a new silverado from them and the sales was great but the rest is complete trash. Took my truck in for 1000 mile service and had an recently purchased a new silverado from them and the sales was great but the rest is complete trash. Took my truck in for 1000 mile service and had an open recall on it at the time that they didnt fix during my service. On top of all this while my truck was being serviced it had been done for over an hour and no one ever called me to get it while im sitting in the waiting room, I had to ask several people before they were even able to find my truck. They then called me a couple days later to tell me to bring it in again so they can fix what they should have the first time I argued with them and told them to provide me with a gas card as i live over 30 mins away from the dealership and this should have been taken care of when took it in for the initial service. I've sent several emails and called in several times with 0 response from anyone there, I would go purchase your chevy elsewhere if i were you More

They damaged my vehicle and blamed me for it!!!!! If I could give this a 0 I would but this is the lowest rating possible, on 05/01 I got an email notifying me that I had to bring in my 2016 Chevy Ma If I could give this a 0 I would but this is the lowest rating possible, on 05/01 I got an email notifying me that I had to bring in my 2016 Chevy Malibu for service as soon as possible and get the Emission System checked out which I did on 05/2. They had to keep my vehicle for a few days which they provided a Loaner to be able to get to work and back home so I get my vehicle back from the shop on 05/05 (Saturday) distance from the dealership is less than 3 miles and distance from my home to work is about 10 miles ( 20 miles round trip) on Monday 05/07 on my way back home my vehicle started over heating and on Tuesday 5/08 I took it back to Montebello Chevrolet maybe they did something or forgot to put something back in and that was the reason it was overheating so they provided me another loaner and sent me on my way.. That same evening I get a call back from one of the Service Riders letting me know that I had cracked my Radiator and I was told that " I must of hit a rock or a pebble" and that it would cost me about $1,200 for Parts and Labor to get it fixed. My vehicle was perfectly fine until I took it in for service due to the fact I got an email about the Emission System Software. I took my Malibu to two different Auto Shops were I was notified that the crack/puncture was done on the side of the Radiator the part that faces the engine.. not on the outside facing the front of the vehicle. I do not know if they intentionally damaged my vehicle to bring it back and get some money out of me or if a Mechanic accidentally punctured the Radiator and did not inform anyone so that he/she would not get in any trouble.. regardless the Service Department will not own up to any responsibility and now is going to cost me out of pocket to fix a damage that was not my fault this is very frustrating and upsetting. I wonder how many other innocent costumers have fallen for this scam. ??? More
Worse service Quality of service is horrible. Quote from Scott, service manager, "what Jon, service writer, said does not matter. Technician's diagnostic report Quality of service is horrible. Quote from Scott, service manager, "what Jon, service writer, said does not matter. Technician's diagnostic report is what matters." By the way, technician's diagnostic report did not fix the problem, went in and came out with the same problem. Been back three time and I still have the same issue after a bill of $1000 of work. More
