PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. Based on my experience and many other reviews, this is a VERY UNETHICAL BUSINESS. The internet salesman sent me information on the vehicle. On the Based on my experience and many other reviews, this is a VERY UNETHICAL BUSINESS. The internet salesman sent me information on the vehicle. On the email it says “All Pricing and Advertised Prices for any/all vehicles offered for sale does not include dealer installed accessories which can be purchased for an additional cost. Prices are plus government fees and taxes, any finance charges, $85 documentary fee, $33 electronic registration fee, any emission testing charge and $1.75 per new tire state tire fee”. So, I emailed the salesman the following: “I would need to have a buyer's order and do the paperwork upfront. Just being honest, but I don't do dealer adds, protection packages, etc. I would need the out the door price." At this point the salesman could have simply emailed me back the list of absurd dealer adds I later found out about, and I would have told him I’m not interested. Instead, the salesman would not answer and kept trying to lure me into the deal for hours. Not once would the salesman disclose the dealer adds or provide me with the out the door price that I repeatedly asked for. Their goal is to avoid disclosing this information in an attempt to get you into the dealership and then “hard sell” you. That in itself is sad, but since I live many hours away, that just wasn’t going to happen without knowing the out the door price. Once I wrote the above email, there was no response. So I sent the salesperson an email asking why he couldn’t just be transparent. The next morning, I received an email from the internet director with the following information: “Please see the attached disclaimer that is on every page. All Pricing and Advertised Prices for any/all vehicles offered for sale do not include dealer installed accessories which can be purchased for an additional cost. Dealer Installed accessories include Catalytic Converter Etching $799, GM Appearance Protection $1,499, Elo GPS $1,499, GM Theft Protection $599, Clear-shield $499, NitroFill Tire Protection $299 and PPF Headlight Protection $1,299.” We are open to negotiate these however.” First off, this information was not in the email I received from the dealership or Truecar. Second, why couldn’t the original salesperson tell me about this disclaimer when I repeatedly asked for it, I would have just declined. Here is the bottom line, this dealership does everything they can to lure an individual in, and take advantage of the uniformed. Not one person selling you these vehicles would ever pay those absurd fees, or let a family member or someone they care about pay those absurd fees. They will try everything to get you in without disclosure, in my case, even when asked. When you tell them they are unethical, they get upset and try to dignify their shady business practices. So, because they will eventually give you a disclaimer, that makes it ethical to try and take advantage of people. They will tell you they price their vehicles under market value even with the fees. If that is the case, why wouldn’t they just add the fees upfront. I can tell you why, “no one would come look at their vehicles”. In conclusion, stay far, far away from this dealership. Their employees will try their best to defend their shady business practices, but there simply is no defense. I am sure I will get some canned response from this dealership wishing me well and apologizing for my bad experience. However, they will continue preying on people, one of which may be your elderly grandmother, your son, a financially strapped individual, or just someone uneducated about the car buying process. Regardless, spread the word and take your business elsewhere. More
In the past, this dealership would take about 1 to 2 hours to do a oil change and tire rotation. Specially, for a waiter, that is too long. This time the service was less then an hour and not spending hours to do a oil change and tire rotation. Specially, for a waiter, that is too long.
