I tried to get an active recall done on my 2002 pontiac grand prix. Car is super clean only has 102k miles on it. The service department gave me the run around. Finally giving me an answer of parts are no longer available. The recall came out in 2015 and its to replace front valve cover and gasket. I got in contact with gm themselves and they said parts are available as its an active recall. They directed me to tasca chevy in woonsocket and they got me right in. Parts were in next day after making appointment. I have had some bad experience with chevy gmc of attleboro with warranty work on my 2024 2500 silverado. along with my wife ordered a 2025 yukon with them and the failed to keep us updated after the 3 months they promised came and went then the price was going up from what we agreed on. So we found another 2025 yukon somewhere else with more options for 8k less. I get not wanting to work on a 24 year old car being a dealer. Buts its a super simple front valve cover and im pretty sure recalls are mandatory to be completed... By 9am tasca called me and said it was all set. Again with a bad review of this place. I will again not recommend. I tried to let you guy fix it again being youre 5 minutes from house. But I will not be back More

Dan the service writer was great. The problem is that he is only as good as what the technicians diagnose or in this case mis-diagnose. The tech told him I need an engine because of a ticking noise also the oil was contaminated with metal. I have all records of GMC changing oil etc. 16,000 dollars was the quote to replace the engine. I paid the diagnoses fee and had it towed to Paul Masse Chevrolet in East Providence. 04/22 2026. 04/23/2026 it was fixed for 400.00 dollars by Paul Masse and running like brand new. I would like my diag fee back since I did not need a motor. (#6 push rod replaced). No contamination in oil but I had it changed so they could look for what was told to me. Dan was great to bad the team behind him does not seam to be professionals. Like I said before I would like my diag fee back. Dan has my info. More

Overall, I was satisfied with the customer service I received. The only issue I had was that when I first brought my vehicle in, I chose to 'wait' for the diagnostic results in the customer lounge. After a lengthy delay, I approached the service advisor, who informed me that the technician working my vehicle, had discovered several mechanical issues, that needed to be addressed. The repair of these issues would require a drop-off appointment, as the repairs would likely take a whole day. After hearing this, I scheduled another appointment for the following week and then left. More
