We called the dealership and was connected to Selena which we believe was meant to be. We drove over looked around and became very comfortable with Selena. Cherokee Nissan justifies their high service prices because they have "genuine Nissan" parts and "certified Nissan" technicians. Their genuine Nissan transmission that they used to replace my bad one because they have "genuine Nissan" parts and "certified Nissan" technicians. Their genuine Nissan transmission that they used to replace my bad one was faulty. Their certified technician did not notice the whine that was present on deceleration when I picked it up. I took it back on a Tuesday afternoon, and the service manager told me I would have a call about the car the next day. I did not receive a call on Wednesday or Thursday, and I had to call on Friday to find out what was happening with my car. They said the transmission they installed was indeed bad and that they were still going through the required testing for Nissan to send a replacement. Somehow the new transmission came in over the weekend and my car was ready on Tuesday. So what they are saying is it took longer to get approval from Nissan for the replacement than to receive and install it. It was a very frustrating experience and I won't be back. More
