This was the worst experience in terms of customer service I have ever encountered. Not only was there conflicting information, but trying to resolve the issue was lengthy and cumbersome. He was very polite and professional. He worked with my budget, and he respected my busy work schedule by adjusting the way he handled my business so that I could make all my appointments. On April 26,2010 I took my toyota camry to the service department to get it serviced. After about three and one half hours of waiting the service consultant called me and told me the amount of work that m department to get it serviced. After about three and one half hours of waiting the service consultant called me and told me the amount of work that my car needs, right there i realized that i needed a new vehicle. I walked right over to the sales department and met Bernard and told him my latest delima. From there we started on talking about my specific needs for another car. I was very scared about the decision that i was about to make,especially with the latest rumours going around with Toyota.Anyway Bernard assured me that buying a toyota would be the best decision that i would make in buying a car.Bernard was very patient with me,even though at times i thought i was getting on his nerves,but he showed a lot of understanding and compassion regarding my needs that day. We test drove and right then i knew i was going to make a decision.I bought my new camry "2010" and after three days i'm loving it more and more. Thank you Bernard for helping me with this huge decision. You're the best!! More
I wanted to express how greatly Rob Winters and Jason Rayner provided extraordiary customer service. The reason WHY is 5 years ago we purchased a 2002 toyota sequoia and was just recently hit head on by a driver who lost control of his stearing wheel. As a result vehicle was totaled we came back to Toyota and was treated with care and dedication in working with getting us back into a Sequoia. They made this happen with comfort and ease as if they where family. They provided express and concern about health and making sure we where ok in the accident!!! You hardly ever get this type of customer service anymore. Just to let Toyota know they are both a great asset to the company. P.S. if you ever need the Jacksons to ever promote a commercial about dedication and your product we are here otherwise we would not have came back to purchase our 2nd Sequoia. Checkerd Flag Toyota is by far the worst place to purchase a car or have a car serviced. I was in for an oil change this week and waited an extra hour because the serviceman did not know how to prono purchase a car or have a car serviced. I was in for an oil change this week and waited an extra hour because the serviceman did not know how to pronounce my last name. Instead of calling my first name, he just pushed my car aside. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience with this dealership. It began the day I purchased my Camry. I didn't receive my second keyless entry key and was told they would mail it to me. When I finally received the empty plain white envelope with no key in it 2 weeks later, I called to complain. I was told to wait until after the weekend. When I said I would be bringing it in that day to prevent whoever had my key from stealing my car from my driveway, they were not happy. I was then told that a locksmith would rekey all the locks and I would have a separate key for my ignition, one for my trunk, one for the doors and one for the back seat. The service took a week longer than promised. Two months later I received a call stating my part was in- they didn't replace one of the locks and did not inform me of this. After waiting an hour for the service department to fix the lock I was told was fixed 2 months prior, I was told that they did not have the part. More recently I had to ask 3 different people to see if my car had the latest recall on it only to find out that the car has 3 recalls. I was never notified of this information. I have tried to give this dealership the benefit of the doubt multiple times, but each time they disappoint. I would never, never recommend this dealership to anyone. I will never take my car back to Checkerd Flag Toyota for anything. More
I purchased used Toyota Highlander from this dealership. This is 4th car in my family within last 1.5 years and everytime we have worked with Jun. I have recommended few of my friends to him and everyone has a positive response about Jun. I highly recommend Checkered Flag Sales and Service Department. I always take my car for service there and work with Chris Maule(may be wrong last name). He is another gem in Checkered Flag Service department. Also wanted to name Mr Steve (Tech), who took care of my Highlander. Checkered Flag is one of the best. Thanks to Jun, Chris, and Steve for all thie fair delaing and services More
The saga of my Highlander has finally come to a happy ending. It turns out that the reason my truck was so long in being repaired was that someone at the collision center had noticed an area that was not ending. It turns out that the reason my truck was so long in being repaired was that someone at the collision center had noticed an area that was not up to Checkered Flag standards and had recycled the vehicle to refine the repair. The reason for the delay was actually a good thing - the MAIN problem was the total lack of communication. Had at any time someone from the collision center called and informed me of the situation I would not have had a problem in the world. I spoke with Mr. Ed Snyder and Mr. Randy Tozier and both were very pleasent to deal with. My confidence in Checkered Flag has been restored and I appreciate the service. More
We took our 2009 Highlander in to have running boards installed. Our appointment was for 7:45AM on August 4. They were supposed to start at 8:00AM and have the car ready for pickup at 10:00AM. I returned installed. Our appointment was for 7:45AM on August 4. They were supposed to start at 8:00AM and have the car ready for pickup at 10:00AM. I returned at 10:30AM and the car was not ready. I was told to return in another hour. I waited until 1:30 and the car was finally ready. I had a same day appointment with the collosion center for after the running boards were installed. It took so long to have the running boards installed that I was told it was too late for the collision center to start the repairs and it would have to wait until the next day (Wednesday) and would be ready on Friday 08/07/09. I waited all day on Friday and received no call. I called at 1:30PM and left a voice mail for Linda Wilhelm. No response. I called again at approx 3:15PM and again no response.Another call was placed at approx 4:15PM and I was told by Ms. Wilhelm that the car was in the paint shop but still not ready. She said it may be ready on Monday 08/10/09. I placed a call to Randy Tozier and left a voicemail to have him respond by 5:00PM. As of this time 10:30AM on Saturday 08/08/09 I have had no call or message. This is unacceptable behavior on the part of Checkered Flag and its staff. I realize that I am at your mercy, I bought the vehicle, I have to pay for it so I have no recourse but to wait until YOU decide to do your job. I am very disappointed with this situation and I promise you it will not end with this letter of complaint. More
