On April 26,2010 I took my toyota camry to the service department to get it serviced. After about three and one half hours of waiting the service consultant called me and told me the amount of work that m department to get it serviced. I walked right over to the sales department and met Bernard and told him my latest delima. From there we started on talking about my specific needs for another car. The main reasons I went to Checkered Flag first was because of personal endorsements from friends, the fact that they are an established Toyota dealer in southeastern Virginia, and very innovative. Because they were the first dealer in this area to sell Toyota decades ago, and more recently the first Smart Car dealer. As a full time professional, primary care giver to my mother and family, and in a recent car accident I needed complete, accurate & current information pertaining to certified used vehicle inventory, pricing, warranty, Carfax reports, and incentives and I needed it fast. I found all of that and more at Checkered Flag Toyota. I had started a car search 9 months prior, but prices were not available online on their website at that time. During the recently ended 0% new, 2.9% certified used sales incentives, I saw they had revamped their website. Now, you can view pricing, carfax reports, features, and pictures. Better yet, the information is updated promptly so buyers aren't slowed down by viewing sold inventory days after the sale. The internet sales team scheduled me for the test drive, I was met at my car door by Gino Harris, my salesman. Gino showed me all the RAV4 features, we took a test drive, compared the 0% new vehicle payments to the 2.9% certified used payments. Gino was so very easy to to do business with, as was Jim the credit manager. Gino even offered to follow me to the car rental business in my new vehicle so that I wouldn't have to walk in the rain or pick up my vehicle at another time. There are no boundaries Gino can't overcome! I was also impressed with their in house DMV office - no temporary car tags, followed by a long wait at the state DMV office. It was such a fantastic one stop shopping experience! I was so impressed, I told family members and one family member bought a another RAV4 with cash within a week and a half from Gino, of course! We could not be happier with our RAV4s and plan to tell everyone we know about Gino Harris, Jim, Giselle and Checkered Flag. I can't wait to experience their maintenance team next. More
