I got the run around at two other VW dealerships in my town, and walked out of both of them after they wasted a lot of my time. I live in Williamsburg and decided to drive to Virginia Beach notwithstanding weekend traffic, tunnels and my overall frustration with the car buying experience. Checkered Flag not only had exactly what I wanted proving the other dealers liars, but when I told them what I was going to pay - after doing research and knowing the cars worth and dealer's true invoice, they said "fine." I got what I wanted, at a fair price, and I'm ecstatic! More

We live in Hampton.Al Flores was on the lot.He introduced himself & preceded to assist us.We looked at several new accords.He even pulled a couple from the back lot for us to see.That day we thanked him for his time & patience I told him that I would look for him when I was ready to buy.On 07/01/11,my daughter brought me to Checkered Flag because I wasn't pleased with the toyota camry that I had traded my 2006 camry for the day before. When we pulled on the lot,again Al Flores was standing out there. I told my daughter-that's him,that's Al-the salesman that helped us last year. Again,he was very patient in assisting us. After driving the accord that was too low for my knees,I decided on a new honda CV-R SUV. Al discovered that the new camry I had purchased was sold with the wrong VIN number on the contract. He let us drive the CR-V back to Hampton to get the contract corrected. My daughter decided to take over the payments on the new camry because she commutes to Williamsburg daily & needed a new car.I ended up leasing the new CR-V SUV for myself. I can't say enough about Al Flores. He was so patient,had all the answers,very professional,yet not pushey at all as I had experienced at the other dealership. I will continue to recommend Al Flores and Checkered Flag. More
