My wife and i stopped into the shop on a few occasions looking for the right mini in our price range. We had a broad array of vehicles we were considering and visited over ten different dealerships in Richmond and Hampton Roads including Car Max, Toyota, Honda, Ford, Lexus, Nissan, and Acura. Checkered Fla visited over ten different dealerships in Richmond and Hampton Roads including Car Max, Toyota, Honda, Ford, Lexus, Nissan, and Acura. Checkered Flag BMW Mini was by far the best sales experience we had throughout the entire process. Brian Fellini was incredibly knowledgeable and never employed any of the high pressure, and often laughable, sales tactics that were common practice at the other dealerships. We spent the entier day test driving vehicles to make sure we were making the right decision and Checkered Flag's process allows the driver to truly evaluate an automible before making a purchase. We were allowed to take all the vehicles we test drove out on our own without a salesmen in the backseat and drive it for over an hour if that is what we needed to do to feel comfortable about our evalution. Every other dealership we visited insisted on having a salesman ride along in the back seat going through a faux exchange of personal interest and pleasantries while trying to "sell" us the car during our 5 minute ride around the block. Even after finally making the purchase, Brian stayed with us well past closing time to review all the key vehicle features when he could have just as easily bailed once the deal was closed. I would highly recommend including Checekered Flag BMS Mini as part of your next vehicle purchase process. Even if you don't buy from them, the experience will be enjoyable and will drastically alter your impression of the used car sales process. More

Frank was very thorough in providing the information and understanding about the car I purchased. From the day we road tested the car, in the rain,to ordering the exact car I built on BMW's website, his upd understanding about the car I purchased.
