I had to bring my Forester in for service for the first time since I purchased it in Nov 2020. Service was great and took less time than I thought it would. Waiting area was spacious and very clean. Thank you Brandon for making my first time a great experience. I was asked if I would like my vehicle washed after the service was completed so I said yes! I brought my Outback in for a warranty repair and was given a loaner. Dustin told me it would be around 2 weeks because of ordering the part. I got my car back much earlier than promised. I had two recall issues to deal with. Notices I received indicated about 1.5 hours for the repairs. I opted not to have my wife drive and just read for the 1.5 hours while I waited. When I arrived I was adv indicated about 1.5 hours for the repairs. I opted not to have my wife drive and just read for the 1.5 hours while I waited. When I arrived I was advised it would take an unknown length of time and the time mentioned in the recall notice didn't include "waiting for a mechanic to start" As a result I decided to take an Uber home and then have my wife drive me back to get the car when it was ready. I couldn't get an answer on when I'd get my car back so I was in the process of scheduling UBER to take me home when the scheduler came to me to advise they were taking the car back at that time. I cancelled UBER. This was a frustrating experience that would have been avoided if someone had advised service dept was jammed before I drove to your shop.. I got texts reminding me of my appointment but no indication there may be a delay. There was another couple in the waiting area that had been waiting an hour and a half for their appointment.They actually got their car back from service and left. They were told it would take at least a month to reschedule if they left. Based on their experience I figured I was looking at at least 3+ hours and didn't have time for that. I was in the process of ordering UBER to take me home when the scheduler(don't have his name)came to tell me they were taking my car back to service. As it turns out the car was finished in a total of 1.5 frustrating hours as the recalls stated. The entire process was unsettling at the least. I should have been contacted by phone or text( before I made the trip to Subaru) that you were experiencing delays and I would have had my wife drive also and take me home. At least I could have made an informed decision about the trip and totally avoided the frustration. Further, customers should not be told that the time estimate on the recall letters is for the actual work and doesn't include an unknown amount of time waiting on a mechanic. More

Needed some transmission work done. Obviously an expensive job, and a time consuming one. Dustin made sure I got into a loaner car and the job was completed after some time. Bought 2022 Outback July 5th. Brought back in 9 days later for engine light and poor mechanical performance. Salesman accused me of not tightening gas cap. Instead of making a service ticket and scannin later for engine light and poor mechanical performance. Salesman accused me of not tightening gas cap. Instead of making a service ticket and scanning for codes he disconnected battery and cleared code in parking lot. A few days later car would not move and making loud noises. Finally got it to Chatham on Saturday. They called me on Monday and said it needed a transmission. Now I will be in a loaner til the end of July at the earliest. More
