They attempted to bully me into putting a $250 battery into my 8 year old domestic car. They installed it without getting my ok, and then gave me push back when I told them to take it out and put my battery back in (ended up going to a reputable service shop who installed a 5 year warranty battery for $77 total). They then lied to me and said that my car would not even start, so I would have to tow it out. When I picked up my car, it started up just fine and I drove it 5 miles myself to get the battery replaced. I was then told that I was the liar - while the same employee that told me my car would not even start was the same employee that told them I had ok'd the battery install. Very shady business practices, and their response to my complaint was that I was wrong and they had already did me a favor by removing the battery free of charge (when I did not approve it in the first place!). Be very wary of their service department, especially if you are a female. More

In early May, I started receiving numerous notices via mail and email that the car was due for service. Since this isn't my first new car, I was well aware that it was due for service. On 5-23-14, I attempted to make the 45 minute drive drive to Charlie's Dodge in Maumee to get my oil changed. When I pulled in, I was told that it would be a 2 hour wait to get the oil change performed. Not having the 2 extra hours to sit and wait, I left. The following Tuesday, I attempted to call Charlie's Dodge in Maumee to get an appointment to get my oil changed. I was advised that they would not give me an appointment for an oil change, and that I would have to sit and wait for the service to be done, regardless of how long it would take. I also contacted the Dodge Customer Service Line. They called Charlie's Dodge in Maumee, and was told that the slow time would be about 2:30 in the afternoon. So I guess my grand daughters can just stand at the door of their school, and wait for me to pick them up, since Charlie's Dodge in Maumee does not accept appointments for a simple oil change. This has to be the most UNFRIENDLY, USELESS customer service I have ever seen !!! More
