Disappointed In hindsight, my experience was not as positive as I had hoped. The salesperson, Justin was pleasant and helpful, and Nelson and the finance person were pleasant to speak with, however, after spending several hours there, as I began to sign papers to purchase a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu there were several things that came to my attention that made me question if I was doing the right thing: 1) the terms of the sale increased from 72 to 75 months without any discussion with me (I had clearly stated that I preferred a 60 month contract but would consider 72 months if the payment was right) 2) the "Doc" fee increased from $249.00 to $399.00 on the paper I was asked to sign ($399 was written over the $249 in black marker 3) when I asked if the gas tank would be filled, I was told that that wasn't done for the purchase of used cars and 4) after being told that there was a 3 month 3,000 mile guarantee by Nelson earlier in our discussions, I was told by the finance person that there was a $100 deductible. I have never heard of this at any other dealership, large or small. I continued with the purchase largely due to the fact that I desperately needed a car and this car met my needs, however, if I had known the above mentioned concerns prior to spending four-plus hours at the dealership or if this had occurred weeks earlier in my search for a car, I would not have purchased the car . . . I would not recommend Charlie's to others. More

Wonderful team We came in the morning after a big snow storm. Everyone was in cleanup mode and garb, and they all apologized for the way they were dressed. Before visiting the dealership in person, I had an extremely positive experience at Charlie's Chevrolet where I purchased a new 2017 Chevy Corvette. Before visiting the dealership in person, I had favorable experiences during phone conversations with both the sales consultant and the sales manager. They new exactly what I wanted to purchase and were low key in our discussions. It took several weeks for the vehicle that I was interested in to arrive at the dealership and they called me that day. I visited the dealership the following day, test drove the vehicle and expressed my desire to purchase it. The entire process was very low key; no pressure to purchase the vehicle at all. They offered me both a discount on the purchase price of the new vehicle and gave me an excellent trade-in price for the vehicle that I was selling. I was very impressed with the sales staff and would recommend this dealership to any person that is looking for a "no hassle" buying experience. More

We are very happy with our purchase, and feel very satisfied with our overall experience. We purchased a Subaru Outback from Charlie's a little over a year ago, and have had our oil changes done there. The maintenance staff are very helpful and friendly as well. The folks at Charlie's are terrific. I wanted to trade my car for a larger vehicle. Nelson Peterson kept an eye open and called me a couple of times when they had something they thought I wanted to trade my car for a larger vehicle. A couple of weeks after purchase I was uncomfortable about a "noise" and Nelson arranged for me to take it to Charlie's Jeep to be checked. Those folks were also great. Nelson Peterson, terrific guy. He always seemed pleased to see me even if he was probably thinking "Oh no, not her again". Jed Crommett, nice young man. Eric Lindholm, took care of the financing and paper work. Heidi Laliberte, at Jeep, ordered and mailed a Jeep manual to me because the previous owner was unable to find his. The service department at Charlie's Chevy in Winthrop are great guys. I have been going there to have my Subaru serviced since they opened. This Jeep is my third Charlie's purchase. More
