Worst customer service I've ever received This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a business and one of the worst experiences I've had with a human being, period. Jim was arrogant, rude and pompous from the minute I walked up. Encouraged me to get the vehicle checked with a mechanic and then refuted the entire report when I returned. Repeatedly walked out of the office when I was trying to discuss the car with him. Was impatient and curt when I was asking him about the car. He finally told me that he didn't care about my business and acted like I was wasting his time. Was finally so disrespectful, vulgar and unprofessional that I walked out of his office and canceled the deal. This dude is a xxxxxxxx extroardinaire. Do not do business with this company. Extreme was of time, effort and money. Really wondering how this guy is still in business. I hope he is not for very much longer. More

Rude and unprofessional We texted an offer of $1200 less than what he had it listed for, but instead of just telling me my offer was too low, he texted back, "Ha! I texted back, That instead of just blowing off customer's offers, why not just tell me that my offer is too low but would like to earn my business and would I like to come and see the vehicle and see if he could earn my business. The owner tells you that he will take care of it but after purchase he doesn't care about you at all. I've waited for over 2 hours on site for my rotars to be changed and they never got to me, and for weeks I have been trying to get that done and they are apparently too busy to service their loyal customers for a 20 min fix that was their fault in the first place. MAKE SURE YOU GET INSPECTED AT ANOTHER PLACE BEFORE PURCHASE!!! More

This is a reputable business I first want to say, that this is a reputable business. The cars are no warranty/as is- so, my advice is if you don't know about cars yourself, bring I first want to say, that this is a reputable business. The cars are no warranty/as is- so, my advice is if you don't know about cars yourself, bring someone who does, and get the car's history. The owner takes good care of them and ensures quality work is done to make them as safe and as reliable as possible, but they are used. We bought a 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX in early February. Drove it a week, then check engine light came on - turned out to be cylinder 4 misfire in what was a newly replaced engine - history fully disclosed by Jim - and it was one of the reasons I bought it, because I wanted a reliable car that would still last some good years for my kid. Took it to Suby Doctors - ended up after a lengthy time period of diagnostics, needing the engine replaced attributed to it being a manufacturer defect - a freak thing apparently. The parts were genuine Subaru, so they were under warranty. Jim came through for the labor costs related to replacement by the Suby Doctor staff. Long story short, Suby Doctors replaced the engine again and Jim covered the labor. We got our car back today. I can say that through it all, Jim represented his business as reliable and honest after our initial worry we would be out both money and car due to it being without warranty. There of course is a certain measure of expectation that a $10K car will last more than a week, and he came through with that integrity. Suby Doctors were very professional, direct, reliable, and seem to have a solid reputation as well. If you are looking for a used Subaru, rest assured that Charleston Auto Sales is an honest and reputable business. More
