I went to Chapman Volkswagen to purchase a used vehicle after my previous Volkswagen was totaled. After the contract was signed and everything looked good to go, the salesman unexpectedly showed up at my p after my previous Volkswagen was totaled. After the contract was signed and everything looked good to go, the salesman unexpectedly showed up at my place of work because they forgot to have me sign part of the contract so he could receive his cut of the money. VERY unprofessional, and this unannounced visit while I was in a corporate meeting caused me problems at work as well. I told them to never come to my work or call my work for any reason...which they did again. Apparently they did not complete the financing paperwork correctly and needed me to come in a sign more paperwork and called my work multiple times never once trying to contact me on my cell phone or personal numbers. Over a month after purchasing the vehicle I still did not have any financing and they needed me to once again come in and sign more paperwork and since a month had gone by and i did not have a payment they also needed to collect a payment from me. I was never told they needed a payment until i showed up to sign the additional papers. I asked them to wait until the end of the week because i had just paid my school tuition and books (which was thousands of dollars). I said that they could debit my account on such and such a date- They even had me sign more paperwork indicating when the could charge my card. After leaving the dealership i discovered they had authorized my card the same day which created insufficient funds in my account and it was temporarily frozen, which caused my tuition payment to bounce. Long story short these guys don't have a clue, they may mean well but are not capable of doing business in a professional manner. I love my Volkswagen but it was not worth getting embarrassed at work and being dropped from a class. More
This was a great service experience under circumstances which required promptness. Kathy made sure the work was completed in two days because this was required by our travel arrangements. I decided that I wanted have my CC Sport serviced every 5000 miles instead od the recommended 10000. I called my service advisor and was able to get the car in the next day and at a time convenient for me 5000 miles instead od the recommended 10000. I called my service advisor and was able to get the car in the next day and at a time convenient for me. There was also an issue with a warning light intermittingly coming on. I took the car in and was immediatly taken care of. This is very important to me in that I am a business owner can't be wasteing time standing around waiting for someone to notice I'm there. My service advisor caled when the car was ready and when I picked it up the paper work was complete and she explained indetail the work that had been done. Again no waiting time. I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. More
Richard and Matthew were wonderful to work with. I had to bring my Jetta in for some unusual repairs becaues of some faulty work done by a windshield repair shop here in Sierra Vista, and Richard and Matt to bring my Jetta in for some unusual repairs becaues of some faulty work done by a windshield repair shop here in Sierra Vista, and Richard and Matt worked very hard to make sure everything worked perfectly for me again. Because of their diligence I was able to re-cover all the costs of the original work and the work done by Chapman Volkswagen from my insurance. They documented everything very well for me and explained (in terms I could actually understand!) what was wrong and what they would be doing to fix it exactly.I appreciate their level of professionalism and customer service and I would recommend this service department to anyone. More
