My 2008 VW Rabbit was totalled in April; I'd expected to be in that car until it keeled over but the accident left me heartbroken and carless. A friend and I went to Chapman VW and I was immediately greeted warmly and given the 5 star treatment...Frank Stevens was amazing and Adam West took me out for a test drive in a 6spd 2011 GTI that had just come off the truck. I was sold! The company I work for is ranked #1 is customer service in our industry and I take that very seriously everywhere I go- I have a heightened sensitivity to it and if the customer service is lacking, I politely leave. No need at this dealership- I was treated like I was the only customer in there and received the most gracious service from the time I walked in...I will be sending anyone looking for a car here and will be singing their accolades as long as I can. Thank you Chapman- Frank & Adam especially- for making something as overwhelming as purchasing a new vehicle so streamlined and enjoyable!! More

I l They LIED about the OTD price and wasted our time. First, I worked out a price with an internet sales manager (Steve) via email and telephone. I live 2 hours away from the dealership. My goal was to get an OTD price prior to traveling to the dealership. They gave us the best price and provided an OTD breakdown via email. I had financing and was ready to buy the car and be done. We worked out a great price. They asked for a 500 dollar deposit on the car and I provided the needed information for the deposit. Upon arriving at the dealership we filled out some Homeland Security Documents. Then the salesman made us wait around for 1.5 hours under the ruse that he did not understand how to use our financing check from bank. We could not leave since they had our check. We would walk by a room and they were just sitting in the room doing nothing. In the mean time they had plenty of other sales people lurking around. After waiting 1.5 hours the sales manager (Tyson) met with me and says he cannot honor the negotiated OTD price. He gives about 5-6 excuses and asks for about another thousand dollars. He even said he did not know about the deal, which was a lie since our first email was from him and we kept getting emails from him. We walked out on the deal. They wasted our time, gas money on a Friday night. Three days later we receive the following email from a different internet sales manager:(by this time we have already made a better deal for the same car with a local dealership) "I just wanted to touch base with you and see how we are missing your business? If there was one thing holding you back from purchasing a vehicle what would that one thing be? Maybe we can help! We do not want to miss your business over something silly so if there is anything that we can do to help please let me know. I can be reached anytime by phone or email, hope to hear from you soon." Kind of funny that something was holding us back when they did not honor the original deal. More

My buying experience was so was very easy, and friendly, and nothing like what the stereotype expects. I am so very pleased. I brought my car in for an oil change on 6/16/ 2011 and worked with Dustin, and he was very friendly. He even let me know my battery was two years old, and would most likely die this summer in the Arizona heat. He showed me the test, and I did not feel at all like her was trying to sell me something I did not need. I appreciated the fact that he pointed this out, and saved me from the hassle of possibly having a dead battery in 115 degree heat. I also appreciated the fact that he let me know to come back in again in 10,000 miles to have my oil serviced again. My friend bought a Mini-Cooper (from someone else ) and was not told when to come back, but just to "top the oil off if it gets low." I have told everyone who asks about my new car about my great experience, and I will absolutely buy from you again when then time comes. Thank you for the great service experience! John Wallace More

All the service technicians were incredibly cordial and helpful to my vehicle needs. I couldn't be more satisfied with the level of customer service and care from Chapman VW. I hope i never have issues with my vehicle but it is comforting to know that i have such friendly and reliable service so readily available to me. More
