Nick was my salesman and he was very knowledgeable, wasn't aggressive or pushy at all. I felt like he really listened to what I wanted and catered to my needs (which, were sometimes ridiculous, to be honest). On top of that, Nick was really funny and genuine. Nick's team was also really great. They were helpful, genuine and most were just talkative and funny. I would definitely recommend this dealership to all my friends, regardless of the kind of car they're looking for. I LOVE my new car! More

Over the years, Nick has stayed in contact with our family, making it that much easier to put our trust and assurances in him especially now, during COVID. The exact vehicle I wanted wasn't in inventory, but that wasn't an issue for Nick. He found the exact vehicle I wanted and delivered it to my home. The same night he brought the vehicle by, the paperwork with financing was completed outside at the dealership. Nick took the vehicle personally to detail and took all of the stickers off, washed and dried it and brought it back in time for me to drive it home again. The dealership had closed, and he was still making sure my Tucson was perfect for me. Nick got me the vehicle I wanted and in a very safe and comfortable way. Thank you Nick for always going the extra mile and ensuring we were happy every step of the way! He called and emailed to make sure we were loving the Tucson which of course we are! It's great to know a salesperson who cares about their clients - beyond the sale. More

There was, of course, a bit of negotiating that occurred prior to settling on a purchase price, but I never felt pressured or belittled. Ignored instructions, damaged paint - refused to compensate. I purchased a brand new 2018 CX-5 Touring (Deep Crystal Blue Mica) from Chapman Mazda in May 2018. I then immediately had a professional detail compa I purchased a brand new 2018 CX-5 Touring (Deep Crystal Blue Mica) from Chapman Mazda in May 2018. I then immediately had a professional detail company ceramic coat the vehicle with Opti-Coat Pro ceramic coating (prevents oxidation and fading - I park in the sun a lot). I am the only one to wash the car and paint has stayed pristine. December 30th, 2019 l went to Chapman Mazda for an oil change and as always, told the service advisor - DO NOT WASH THE CAR, IT HAS A CERAMIC COATING AND I AM THE ONLY ONE TO WASH IT. She (Sally) said "okay". As they were wrapping up the service, Sally asked me again if I wanted the car washed - I said DO NOT WASH THE CAR... again she said "okay". When the car was done I could immediately see they had washed it (the car was filthy due to all the rain we had the previous couple of days). I said to Sally - I TOLD YOU TWICE NOT TO WASH THE CAR. Her response was "Yeah, sorry, so I went ahead and personally took a rag and wiped the whole car myself to make sure it was dry". Those were her exact words! In the sunlight, I could see there were now scratches and swirls all over the car! So I had my detailer look at the car and provide a quote to buff out all the damage & reapply the Opti-Coat Pro ceramic coating. I made an appointment to come back to Chapman Mazda for everyone (Nick – sales, Justin – service & Rita – customer service) to look at the damages and the quote for repair. The next day, Justin calls me and flat out lies – telling me “we didn’t wash the car, we just wiped down the back hatch”. I told him – the whole car went in dirty and the whole car came out clean – explain that! He said he would have to call me back (he never did). Then I heard from Rita Welch (Customer Care Mgr.). We emailed twice then she proceeded to ignore me. I then sent an email directly to George Salman (GM) and his response was that the cost for the paint repair was not “reasonable” for an “accidental wash”. I am not sure it was the “wash” or Sally with her “rag” that caused all the damage (either way, they caused the damage). I said to George that is what it will cost to put the car back to the condition it was when I came in. At that point, everyone decided to just ignore me. So, I then filed a complaint with the BBB, for which also got me nowhere. Chapman Mazda’s final response through the BBB was “sorry you feel this way”. Are you kidding me! You could obviously care less about me as a customer. You offered me absolutely no compensation for the repairs and I had to end up paying out of pocket. All Chapman Mazda offered was to have their “guy” buff the paint and apply a “comparable” coating. I am sure your “guy” is not a professional detailer with 20+ years experience… Your employee(s) scratched up my car with just a “wash”, no way I am going to let them touch it with an electric buffer! So – to sum up my experience with the Chapman Mazda service department – 1.) Damaged customers pristine paint (scratches and swirls all over). 2.) Lied to customer (“we didn’t wash the car” – even though the service advisor already admitted it). 3.) Ignored customer (hoping she would go away). 4.) No compensation to the customer for repairs (I am now out of pocket $599). This is how they treat a customer – and they should be ashamed! More

Never buy a used car from this place When they say "as is" walk away. And NEVER buy a Jeep from a Mazda dealer. I would recommend you take any used vehicle they are selling you to a mecha When they say "as is" walk away. And NEVER buy a Jeep from a Mazda dealer. I would recommend you take any used vehicle they are selling you to a mechanic before you buy. They say they are completely inspected, well if thats true how do they miss an inner CV joint throwing grease. And since Arizona is protecting these dealers with customers having no recourse, you are simply screwed. Will never buy another vehicle in Arizona. My last car was a Lincoln, drove for 3 years without a single problem. This Jeep, I put about 300 miles on it and now discover all the "problems" they failed to fix. The air cleaner filter was all clogged up. They did not even check that. And how can a buyer check something like that. Need tools to even get at it. I'm actually scared to drive this car and I have a trip next week back to Michigan. More

However, Chapman had one of the only one's left with the options and the color that I wanted in the entire state. I simply walked in and started talking to Nick to let him know what I wanted. He was very receptive to the paperwork from other dealers that I brought in and did everything he could to get me the best price possible. He was right on top of everything and overall just a friendly person. He did his best to expedite the process and took his time explaining the car to me. I walked out with a car that I am happy to own and an experience that didn't leave me frustrated. More
