Very dissapointed Very disappointed. I bought a new Elantra from Chapman in 2017 and got a friend to buy a Kona there last year. I contacted Chapman earlier in the day Very disappointed. I contacted Chapman earlier in the day a few days ago and Shawn S. responded via phone and I set up a time to come test drive a very specific car to flat tow behind my RV, a manual transmission Accent. I showed up right on time that evening and Shawn said he was busy with another customer and got another guy to help me. Well apparently they didn’t even have a manual Accent after waiting about 15 min for them to try and find one. What the xxxx?!! The car have been located and ready for me when I got there, and they didn’t even have one!!! What a waste of time and driving about 35 miles from my house. Pretty POOR customer service. Not only is this the fault of the Ill-trained salesman, management is responsible for the customer policies and this one should be a NO BRAINER. More

A joke Confirmation Code: X03TKX7H10 I had contacted this dealership several months ago to get a recall update and to check on a couple issues my Sonata had Confirmation Code: X03TKX7H10 I had contacted this dealership several months ago to get a recall update and to check on a couple issues my Sonata had been having. I called to set up the appointment and made sure to inform the rep of the issues my car had been having so I could get them checked on at the same time. The phone rep confirmed all the information on the phone with me and stated they will get it taken care of. Fast forward to the day of the appointment. I speak with the rep at the front desk and explain my situation and turns out they didn't write down any information about the car issues I was having, after explaining my issues to three different people. I'm told that they were not aware (the phone rep had confirmed all the information with me on the phone). I'm told that its going to be about four hours until they can get my car looked at plus a fee I was not quoted over the phone, I decided to bite the bullet and wait. As I'm sitting in the lobby I experience several different things. I get to watch the two managers fight with one another over several things and I also watched one of the managers yell at another employee "to not drop the customers shi%^ on her lap and to take fu%^&* take care of it. It was interesting to listen to the phone reps talk ill of customers who had called with questions as well. 5 and a half hours later I haven't heard anything about my car, so I ask the service rep what's going on. He informs me my car has still not been looked at. At this point I'm upset and ask for my car so I can leave. Twenty minutes later they pull my car up and I leave. As I'm leaving the service rep says he had ordered a trim piece for my car and will contact me when it arrives. I never got that call back. The whole experience left me feeling defeated and taken advantage of. I bought my car through Chapman and I can say it was a mistake . I hope a higher up reads this and realizes the joke that this dealership is. I also hope this prevents someone else from wasting their time or getting taken advantage of. -Dylan More

Later he offered us another option which was better than what we had gone for and we ended up buying what fits our requirements. We bought Hyundai Elantra 2020 with options of our choice. It was a very warm feeling at the dealership and Douglas got us water and refreshments. Later we drove our New Car to home. A very good experience of Car buying. More
Good but with issues I purchased a new 2019 Genesis G80 Sport which they got from another dealer. The deal with Carl over the phone was quick and easy. When we went to pic I purchased a new 2019 Genesis G80 Sport which they got from another dealer. The deal with Carl over the phone was quick and easy. When we went to pick up the car on 12-2-19, we found issues with the paint. The GM said they would take care of it and provide us a loaner since we are in Tucson. A few days later they delivered the car to us but there were paint and chip spots they missed. Shawn who took over from Carl due to illness had to return to Scottsdale with our car. Finally, today we received our car with all issues resolved. 9 days of waiting and 4 1/2 hrs of negotiation and paperwork on a "supposed" deal has soured my experience some. The vehicle should have been gone over thoroughly when obtained from the other dealer and definitely tell before we came to purchase. Chapman Hyundai did what was needed to resolve the issues but the whole process could have been easier. More

Warranty service on my 2019 Sonata. I came in late in the day after the check engine light lit up on my 2019 Sonata. I was greeted by Ike in the service department. I told him the symptoms and he did a quick check of the car. Since I live in the West valley but work in the east valley Ike provided a loner car at no additional cost. It took a couple of days to get the needed parts shipped in to repair my car but the work was done well and the car is running great, My thanks go to Ike and his team for repairing my Sonata, More
