Chris, Thank you for your review. Customer service is our top priority at Chapman Ford. Our goal is to provide the best experience possible for our customers; however, there are a few details that are worth examining when it comes to your specific situation. The vehicle (which belonged to an out-of-state relative) you brought to us was appraised and you (acting on behalf of the car owner) were given a fair offer based on the vehicle’s condition. We explained to you that if you took the vehicle off the premises, then it would be subject to reappraisal. When the vehicle was brought back to the dealership about eight days later it was in disarray with four mismatched tires and dents and dings that were not accounted for in the initial appraisal. At that point we explained to you that we needed to reappraise the vehicle as it was clearly not in the same condition as when it left.
