I got a pretty good deal on the car considering it was the end of the month and the end of the model year. However, my problem was that I was repeatedly told by the salesman that the car came with navigation. He said specifically it had navigation, answered yes when we asked if the navigation system in the SE was the same as the one in the Titanium version, and said that all of the Escapes with the larger screens came with navigation. Even after I purchased the car and was returning to the dealership to drop the salesman off after he delivered the car to my house, he selected the portion of the screen that usually has the navigation system and told me that this is where the navigation system was, but said that "I guess" I needed to set it up before it would work. So, obviously, I believed that I had a "navigation" system in the car. After trying to setup the navigation system, as I was instructed to do by the salesman, I notice it wasn't working. I called the salesman the next day, and when he called me back he told me that there wasn't a navigation system in the car, but instead the Ford MySync Services. This was the first time he ever mentioned "MySync Services" and not navigation system. Considering he specifically told me, many times, that it had a "navigation" system I was a bit dismayed that he was now saying the exact opposite. I was now being told by the salesman that the car did not have a navigation system, but they could install one for $1,300. I am not going to pay these people an additional $1,300 for a system I was repeatedly told was already in the car. I cannot and would not recommend buying a car from Chapman Ford to anybody I know. Although it is possible to get a good deal from them, you cannot trust the salesmen, which is obviously fairly important in buying a car. If you do purchase a car from them, make sure that you double check that all of the features the salesman mentions are actually in the car, as in my case, they were not. As there are a number of other Ford Dealerships in the Valley, I would recommend going elsewhere to buy a Ford. I believe you could find the same deal I got from another dealership with a more trustworthy sales staff. More
Great service, but one crazy year of ownership! I want to start by saying that this doesn't reflect the service and comfort level of Chapman Ford. They are really a great dealership. This is for peo I want to start by saying that this doesn't reflect the service and comfort level of Chapman Ford. They are really a great dealership. This is for people thinking of purchasing a Ford Edge... I purchased my Edge in March of 2013 brand new. Since purchasing, I've had to take it a total of 5 times for a missing part, 3 manufacturing recalls, and most recently a broken hose to the brake booster (basically allows you to stop). Luckily Ford covered this repair, minus the rental (which was taken care of by Chapman Ford -- cool on their part). After picking up my vehicle and driving it home -- you won't believe this -- ANOTHER issue. A "wrench" icon shows on my dash. Thinking it's a service icon, I go to my book to make sure. It says it has to do with my power train -- see dealer immediately. I called to explain that I JUST had my car in the shop and this happens. I told them I didn't feel safe driving the car back, so they needed to send someone to pick it up, which they did (great service on their part). After calling for an update, I was told that the brake switch broke and needed to be replaced. This is after I just had the brake booster fixed (within hours). So I'm like "how the xxxx does that happen?" and "why wasn't it caught on a final inspection/ test drive?" I mean something like that doesn't fail on one drive home -- which they assured me could happen. I'd have to have some real bad luck for that. Long story short, the service (from what I have seen) is great. They were willing to fix the issues and/ or mistakes and make it right. But this "brand new" car that I bought has had MULTIPLE things wrong with it in a little over a year. I don't know if it's the Ford Edge model in general, or that I just got a bad pick of the litter. Oh, and the icing on the cake... I get a letter in the mail a day or so later telling me my manufacturer warranty is up and that I should purchase the extended warranty. I had to laugh out loud on that one. AGAIN, I don't want this review to reflect negatively on the service from Chapman Ford. They are awesome at fixing the problem. I just want you to be aware of this vehicle. More

However, it was Saturday on Labor Day Weekend, I wanted a new car and the other dealers were giving me the run around. (Come all the way to the West Valley for a "free TV" Free? Yeah, right. Am I looking to buy a TV anyways? No, I want a car) I did an Internet Inquiry on their website and I received a near instant reply from Justin Harris who did not waste my time on the "normal" dealer games. His sales manager, Andrew Lucas called me as they didn't have the exact color I wanted. Nonetheless, he asked me to hold tight and give him (and Justin) an hour or two and one of them would find it. Sure enough, a couple hours later he called me with a firm time that the exact car I wanted would be at his dealership. I arrived at the dealer, none of the normal games I have had in the past ("The oh there is a speck of dirt on your trade, now it's worth $2000 less) so I really appreciated it. He had the car ready for me to inspect right out front. We test drove it and it was exactly what I wanted. He then needed a little time to get the car clean and polished which I completely understood as they just drove it all the way from the Southeast Valley for me. Next, we went in to finance and met with a very prepared Zoe. He had the agreed price and everything correct on the forms, the first time. I say this because shady dealers will usually try to play the bait and switch game in finance and put the car in for a different price (Oh, that was just a typo), but none of that nonsense here. In and out in under five minutes. No games in here. No mystical protection from alien space creatures was forced upon me to buy. Side note: I did let them know I usually don't buy any of that stuff as I only keep a car until its warranty is up. But all around nice guy and was easy to work with. No wasting my time. Last stop, Justin helped me remove everything from my old car and then put it in my new car. He did a tour of the vehicle with me and explained and setup lots of features including the keyless buttons to unlock the doors. (I had no clue how they worked or how cool they were). It was nice to see that he knew what he was doing and could quickly show me features. It was not like he was figuring it out for the first time. He clearly knew what he was doing. I highly recommend these folks. As with any dealership, go in prepared and you are always better off. However, I felt like after being in their dealer for a while that the majority of their sales people have integrity and work out a fair deal for everyone. Thanks! More
NOT your "typical" car dealer First and Foremost, Chapman Ford is NOT the typical car dealer! I was ready to abandon my search for a new vehicle after having horrific experience First and Foremost, Chapman Ford is NOT the typical car dealer! I was ready to abandon my search for a new vehicle after having horrific experiences at several dealerships. As a last ditch effort I went on Yelp to see if ANY auto dealers in the Phoenix area had decent reviews. That is how I found Chapman Ford. I went there with a detailed list of what features I needed & which ones I just wanted (OK, I’m a nerd, it was a spreadsheet.) The staff there treated me with kindness & respect. They really worked to find the right truck for me. They never rushed me nor pressured me in any way. They worked hard to assure that I benefitted from every incentive offered by the factory. When I left, in my new truck, I knew that I had the PERFECT vehicle for me. Since the truck was missing one of my needed options they offered to have it installed for free. The part needed to be ordered & installed by a specialist. Tim Quintana continued his exceptional customer experience by arranging all of the details & keeping me updated regularly. I HIGHLY recommend Tim Quintana and all of the staff at Chapman Ford! More

They have always done their best to keep me happy without my own vehicle if repairs could not be finished in one day. I also trust their new car Sales people more than any other Ford Dealer in the Phoenix area. I had problems with Camelback many times and gave up on Sanderson. I take my Lincoln MKX to Chapman for all my Service is well. My only disappointment is the periodic changeover of personnel in the Service area. Having to get to know and establish a relationship with new consultants all the time is not a good thing. However, I know that in this business people are always moving around and even though its not good for the customer, the personnel are always trying to get a better job or whatever lours them away. Bought two new cars from Chapman last month. Had a very good experience and a no hassle delivery. Good Job Chapman. More

I was quoted a price of $600 to fix a problem with my car at Camelback Ford. It would have cost about $350 at Chapman. Because my warranty was expired by a few months although not by mileage, Darius successfully advocated on my behalf and the repair was reduced to $100. Chapman Service Center has certainly earned my loyalty and good will. More

First off, the service advisor could not be bothered to do anything. when I called and expressed a interest in comming in he told me to just go to the express lane and they will deal with it. One of the things I needed addressed was the low tire pressure sensor was lit. So I dropped my car off and returned like 4 hours later and after I paid and then went to my car the firist thing I noticed was that my drivers window was down. Not sure why they were parking my car outside with the windows down. then next when I started the car, the first thing I noticed was that the low pressure light was lit. so I got and opportunity to wait another 15 min while that was addressed. they whole reason I dropped the car off was that I did not want to wait around but I did wait around. Also was told that the car wash was broke so that they wouldn't be washing my car. More
Good salesman but service dropped the ball Let me state my sales guy Jerry was great and Marcus in finance was excellent. However during my test drive the check engine light came on, after wait Let me state my sales guy Jerry was great and Marcus in finance was excellent. However during my test drive the check engine light came on, after waiting for some time they told me it was fine and they (service)could not replicate the problem after reseting the ecu. During my drive home the check engine light came on again. When I got home I performed a VHR through SYNC and it reviled that the the car required suspension/brake service. Jerry sent a flatbed to my work picked up the car and dropped off a loaner car. Outstanding. I tell him any anyone who will listen that the car has a VHR that states it needs brake/suspension work on top of the check engine light that makes the car misfire and run terrible. So back to the dealer it goes, couple days later I pick it up and the VHR is still showing brake/suspension work needed. They let me take it home that way with no real explanation as what may be wrong. Mind you they fixed the engine running issue by soldiering an injector wire, anyone could tell that because solder was all over the area where they did it. Anyway sales good, service not so much. More
