I explained to Rosie what the problem was and she told me to bring it in but they were very busy and probably wouldn't get to my car until tomorrow. I had the extended warranty which included free car rental. I live further away so with traffic, I didn't arrive there until after 9:30. I have another Ford Dealership much closer to me but my pony only goes to Chapman Ford for any and all services. When I arrived there, Rosie could see that I was distraught over my car. I didn't want to leave it overnight. I gave her strict instructions to be sure it was never parked between two cars, etc. She felt like I was leaving my child with her. I asked her to please call me the minute they knew what was wrong with it. I was on pins and needles waiting at home for her call. She calls me at noon and tells me that my car is READY? I was shocked it was finished so soon and on the SAME day in just a few short hours. She told me that she knew it was hard for me to leave it there so she got to it immediately. It was the water pump that needed to be replaced. When I arrived, my pony was sparkling clean and NOT in between two cars. I honestly don't think she has ever had a woman so freaked out about her car before. She couldn't have provided better customer service. She was simply amazing and exactly the kind of customer service that you just don't see enough of anymore. I hope she is there as long as I have my Mustang. I don't expect anything more to go wrong but if it does, I feel better knowing I can count on her to provide amazing customer service and such professionalism. It was a horrible experience to see coolant all over my garage floor but Rosie made the ordeal better quickly. I just adore her friendly, calming attitude!!!! You are blessed to have her on your team! P.S. My only suggestion would be: To provide rental cars in manual beside automatic. I can't drive an automatic. Well....I can but it's just difficult! :-/ Trish V More
Lackluster Customer Service Today I went into to see my options. I own an 07' Mustang GT and would like to upgrade. I have a child on the way so I am budgeting the best I can. Th Today I went into to see my options. I own an 07' Mustang GT and would like to upgrade. I have a child on the way so I am budgeting the best I can. They offered a lackluster amount of money but I can deal with that. It was the salesman Sean when told I can't afford this made the comment, "Then why are you even here if you had this in your head?" After being told I had a price and it didn't work no matter the reasoning. His comment was, "Do you want me to show you how much you can't afford a new '15 Mustang." At this point he left and they got a new sales rep who was amazing but at this point I had to walk out in anger. Do not go here if you are not willing to bend to their whims! More

Chapman Ford AZ - Extremely Easy to Work With Disclaimer: I have never purchased a new or almost new (less than 15,000 miles on the car) in the past. Most of the time I just buy cars out right f Disclaimer: I have never purchased a new or almost new (less than 15,000 miles on the car) in the past. Most of the time I just buy cars out right from family members and/or friends. So this is my first impression review of buying a car from Chapman Ford. First off, I dealt with Tate Wetzel directly. I had inquired about a 2014 Ford Mustang GT through the website and apparently it was listed late one night and I had asked about it early the next morning. Chapman Ford had little time to get the car prepped, but Tate assured me everything would be checked, cleaned and spit-shine to perfection. The transmission was manual and I hadn't not driven one for about 10 years so Tate drove me out to the Phoenix Zoo parking lot where I was able to get the feel of a short shift and clutch. The feeling was absolutely amazing and no stalling whatsoever (it's like riding a bike). The car is in tip-top shape and the price was better than almost every other listing out there so I had to jump on this opportunity to own a piece of American Muscle car history. Tate was an absolute joy to work with. He was running around as fast as possible to help me out with the purchase and make sure everything was in place. I got a great interest rate with Mark in financing along with an affordable monthly payment. I would completely recommend Chapman Ford AZ on Scottsdale Rd and E McDowell if you're in the mark for a new or used vehicle. All my apprehensions from previous negative reviews have been melted away as I have my own personal experience to add. Well done Tate, Mark and Chapman Ford. You did great! More
A High Maintenance Customer Review Let me begin by saying I'm aware I am a high maintenance, research obsessed, surprise hating, all around PITA customer.... I question everything, I ta Let me begin by saying I'm aware I am a high maintenance, research obsessed, surprise hating, all around PITA customer.... I question everything, I take notes and then, I don't quite trust the answers, so I question again. We hadn't purchased a new car in over a decade and we had some credit issues. I changed my mind about the car I wanted after the test drive. Everything had to be done quickly because we are about to move cross country. And then, after everything was settled, I went back in 4 days later and questioned everything all over again. I was not an ideal, cookie cutter customer by any stretch and this was not an easy sale for Chapman Ford. They really knocked it out of the park for us. We where *extremely* wary of spot delivery scams and we refused to leave our minivan behind and leave with the new car (and our four kids) until everything was completely buttoned up. Yes, it takes more time this way, but do your homework- read reviews and know what to watch out for. There is much less risk of unpleasant surprises this way.... Until you have approval from an actual finance company things can change or fall through. It's unfortunate, but that's not the dealership, that's the bank. If you know you have credit issues, insist on seeing an approval with the interest rate and payment from an actual finance company before taking delivery. Chapman Ford had no problem providing that information (twice!). We chose Chapman Ford (an hour away) based on reviews (all dealerships have negatives, but they had the least and they don't try to hide their negatives), their BBB bureau standing and the stock and incentives they had on the car we wanted (Ford Flex 2014). We started to deal with another dealership right up the street from our house and they where, in my opinion, disorganized and acted like buying a new car was no big deal... To that I have this to say, You may sell cars everyday, but we don't buy one everyday and it's a huge commitment for our family. Had you treated the process seriously and with respect, like Chapman Ford did, we might have chosen your dealership. We feel like we got an amazing deal on the perfect car for our family. The incentives on top of the reduced price where fair. We recieved a *very* generous trade-in allowance on our 9 year old, 120k mileage minivan. The finance department really busted butt getting us a fair interest rate with absolutely zero down and that was no easy feat. We where treated with kindness, respect, understanding and honesty. Thomas Berg, our salesman, is kind, communicative and non high pressure sales. We didn't feel bullied at any point. Zoe, the finance manager, is very intelligent, good at his job and a no-nonsense, straight shooter. He's got kind of a booming, like-able Tony Robbins thing going on :). The real stand out to us is Lance Rodriguez, the Internet Director. This man is honest, logical, kind and has the patience of a saint. He went above and beyond to alleviate my distrust about the process. He was practically a therapist. All in all, I give Chapman Ford a perfect rating and I highly reccomed them for a great deal and a process that is only as painful as you make it. Thank You!! Job very well done :) More
LIARS LIARS LIARS - BUYERS BEWARE THIS DEALERSHIP IS NOT EVEN WORTH A 1 STAR REVIEW BUT YOU HAVE TO GIVE AT LEAST 1 STAR Do not deal with Marisol Guzman she does not know her job. THIS DEALERSHIP IS NOT EVEN WORTH A 1 STAR REVIEW BUT YOU HAVE TO GIVE AT LEAST 1 STAR Do not deal with Marisol Guzman she does not know her job. (1) She thought a Ram truck was a ford (2) Took 3 phone calls to tell me if the 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 $10,993 was at the dealership and available to purchase (3)got to the dealership and the truck was waiting for us to test drive with 0 miles of gas in it. Had to wait 15 minutes to get gas to be able to test drive. (4) She tried to tell me this was a certified pre owned with warranty when it had 143,000 miles on the vehicle. Then again not knowing her job. (5) promised to hold vehicle (6) did not ask for money to hold vehicle (7) did not tell a manager she had someone interested in the Ram (8) did not know there was a sell in progress. We all know this takes awhile. really she did not know her vehicle she was trying to sell was being sold. (9) Text me stating she will see me soon and vehicle was already sold when we arrived at our scheduled time to meet her (10) has a hard time understanding We did like the truck after the test drive. I explained to Marisol I had to take my 16 year old son to work and I would be back at 6:45 with a mechanic to test drive again.I looked her in the eyes and stated prior to me leaving - please do not sell this vehicle out from under me I will be back at 6:45. She stated she would not. I texted her at 4:45 and stated I was on my way. She texted me back and stated perfect see you soon. I arrived at 6:35 PM to meet with Marisol she greeted us and stated she will go get the keys for us to test drive the vehicle. THIS IS THE BEST PART She comes back out to the truck and states another salesman is in the process of selling this vehicle. Note: I had my dad (mechanic) drive from Prescott valley to meet me to inspect the vehicle. She didn't even know there was a deal in the works and it was sold. She made me make the trip to the dealership (30 mile trip) and my dad (150 miles) for a vehicle that was in the process of selling when she texted me and stated she would see me in a bit. I asked if they could stop the sell of the vehicle since I was promised by Marisol she would hold the vehicle while I took my son to work. OH!!!! when she was in front of her boss she stated I should have given her money to hold the vehicle for 3 hours. This was never mentioned to me prior to leaving the dealership. I would have given a cash deposit if asked. Needless to say I was very upset and irritated. Her manger Thor came out to try to smooth things over but stated he could not stop the deal that was in progress and was sorry. He offered to fill my tank up my car with gas but the catch was Marisol had to go with us in our vehicle to get the gas. REALLY!!!! I declined the free gas offer because I told him I didn't want her anywhere near me. I told him she doesn't know her job and should not be working there. He agreed!! OH THIS GETS EVEN BETTER: Thor stated to me on Friday night he would try to find my son another vehicle. Did not receive a call from him until Thursday asking if I was still interested in the truck because the prior buyers finance fell through and the vehicle was available. NO THANKS!! I only buy vehicles from reputable dealerships that have sales people that do not make empty promises to me and my 16 year old son. IT'S ABOUT PRINCIPLE AT THIS POINT. I COULD HAVE SAID YES TO THIS VEHICLE FOR $10,993 BUT INSTEAD I PURCHASED A 2007 YUKON FOR $15,900 at AUTIO NATION FIAT 1-17 BELL ROAD STEVER ROGERS AND MATT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU BUY YOUR VEHICLE AT AUTO NATION FIAT. CHEAPER IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER. A PERSONS WORD IS PRICELESS. CAN'T TRUST A PERSONS WORD ANYMORE AND THAT IS VERY SAD. BEWARE BUYERS.... BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK HERE...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... The entire I don't often take the time to write great things about vehicle dealerships. However, in this case Chapman Ford warrants the extra effort. The entire vehicle buying experience was a shining example of what customer service means. I was completely happy with their professionalism and partnership in listening to my needs, understanding my budget and showing me a vehicle that "I" was looking for rather than what they 'wanted' to show me. I bought the 2014 F-150 and love it. The Customer Service Director Julie Schmit and Internet Service Manager Aidee Perez made all the difference in this process and based on the 'lesser' experience I had at another dealership the week before these two rockstars came through to make everything work out. Thanks Chapman Ford! More

He assured me numerous times via email that everything was approved and good to go. I had a few concerns about the warranty on their used car (the website that have this as a disclaimer, but the value has to be over $15,000 even if it is a Ford Certified car) so I decided I was going to look elsewhere. Tate assured me that he wanted my business and would honor the requested warranty. So we decided to give them a chance and I should have gone with my initial instinct as the experience was full of gimmicks and deceit. After taking possession of the car, they said the credit application wasn't approved until nearly a week after but they wanted me to come in and sign additional paper on Wednesday for a loan that wasn't approved until Thursday morning (per Marcus). They used an avoidance tactic between Tuesday-Wednesday when i tried to call Marcus and Zoe to get additional details. I left many voicemails asking for specific details before making the nearly hour commute to the dealership. On Thursday morning, they decided to call because they wanted me to sign the additional paperwork, and knew that I needed answers before this was going to happen. When they finally gave me answers, they wanted $1,000 down payment (up from the agreed $0 down), interest rate increased over 10% above originally stated rate, and increase in monthly payment of nearly $200.00. If you decide to purchase from this establishment, beware and make sure you clearly ask if this is the finalized agreement. They misdirect and rush you through the paperwork. My advise is to visit another dealership, but if you do decide to go here, slow down, read everything and ask specific. Accept nothing but a complete answer to your questions. Don't get sucked into to the excitement of owning a new/used car. More

They would not honor original numbers they had agreed upon and offered no explanation just different "managers" trying to close you.
