Easy Sailing My battery died over the weekend and needed a new one. VW online service was quick and easy to work with. I was scheduled the next day and was out wit My battery died over the weekend and needed a new one. VW online service was quick and easy to work with. I was scheduled the next day and was out with in few hours. I received a complimentary lyft ride to and from home. The easiness of this service was wonderful. Few things that did not sit right with me. Initial quote was $20 less then what I paid, no explanation was provided nor did I ask, but I would hope sales person would advise on any changes. In addition to this, when I got into my car, my automatic one touch windows were not working. When I went back in I was told "Oh we didn't touch that." Thankfully a specialist/ mechanic was right by, who advised the sales person that they did in-fact forgot to reprogram the windows after the battery was taken out. In my personal opinion "Oh we didn't touch that" isn't a polite answer. I work in the service industry and this is purely offensive. No "let us take a quick look at it" or something of that sort should be the polite thing to do. Either way, this is not a deal breaker, I did enjoy the swift service and the easiness of the appointment. More
Couldn’t find the part I ordered. I had an appointment to put a pardon that I had ordered a week ago that they said would be in the next day. I got a notification that the part was in and made the appointment for service . After the car was there a few hours they notified me that they cannot find the part that I had ordered. Took over an hour for them to locate the part and to have it installed. My luggage cover that I also ordered at the same time they located easily. More
Volkswagen Inspection I went in for a normal vehicle inspection and was greeting with a smile by James Melnick, as usual. In less than 30 minutes I was informed that during I went in for a normal vehicle inspection and was greeting with a smile by James Melnick, as usual. In less than 30 minutes I was informed that during the inspection an oil leak was discovered in the timing case. Jim immediately set me up for a rental car (no charge) and I was on my way. I was initially told the repair would take two days; however, the repair was done within one day. I returned the very next day to pick up my vehicle without incident. I would recommend this dealership to anyone for good service and great salesmanship. Thank you More
