Very quick and on time The car was due for a oil change, scheduled the appointment thru text. Oil change was done , tires rotated, and fluids checked. Poor Service I purchased my vehicle at Chapman in NE (in 2009) so I took it there a few times to have work done. Multiple people advised me against taking my car h I purchased my vehicle at Chapman in NE (in 2009) so I took it there a few times to have work done. Multiple people advised me against taking my car here as they are ridiculously overpriced and not well trained... I personally was never blown away by the service or the quality of work, but it was close to my work and I felt the convenience was worth the extra money I was going to pay. Last month I brought my car there because my air conditioner wasn’t working. I paid over $400 to have the blower replaced (as well as re-program the electronics to allow my sunroof to open). I told my father the amount and he’s convinced that I was taken advantage of for being a woman and they figured I wouldn’t know better. I would like to believe that’s not the case, but then again I was charged about $300 for labor. I picked my car up, told the air is fixed, however the air still isn’t working. I take it back the next morning. I did not hear back from the mechanic all day about what could possibly be wrong and when I show back up to pick up my car, they tell me that they couldn’t figure it out and being that it’s an older car (2009) it’s probably not even worth trying to fix ... I’m dead serious. That’s what he said. 😕 Not having air in my car is a big problem for me because I am in the car for multiple hours everyday. I also transport my kids around, and as hard as I try not to spoil my kids, I think they deserve some air in the car on a long car ride on a 95 degree day.... So I arranged to have my car taken to a different mechanic a couple weeks later. This guy had my car for 2 hours and fixed the problem. Apparently there was so much “gunk” built up in my A/C (stuff that was put in there intentionally for testing purposes, but was way more than should have been used) that it was pressurizing so would not blow cool air (I’m not a car person so please forgive me if that’s not how it’s said). He basically said that whoever worked on/ assessed my car previously was an idiot. I was charged $50 to fix. Quite a big difference... and it’s been so nice driving around with A/C again!! So needless to say I will NOT ever be returning to Chapman NE and would not recommend. More
