Vehicle Purchase Done Right As a person who works in sales, I felt the need to share my recent experience while purchasing a vehicle from Brighton Chrysler. I was changing jobs As a person who works in sales, I felt the need to share my recent experience while purchasing a vehicle from Brighton Chrysler. I was changing jobs in the middle of the week, and so I needed to turn in an old company vehicle while picking up a new personal vehicle that I bought from this dealership. Everything that was involved with me finishing one job in the middle of the week and then starting another job that same week made for a very hectic couple of days. My salesperson Jeff Johnston helped me find the right vehicle, he worked with Sales Manager Jeff Lopez to get me every discount they could, and then even the General Manager Rick Burt came out to the sales desk to let me know that they had found me every dollar of savings that was possible. Business Manager Steve Bellinger recognized I was very short on time, so he flew to get my purchase paperwork completed as soon as possible. I told my salesperson Jeff that I'd have to be back in late the following day to pick up my new vehicle and leave my fleet vehicle on the lot. It was critical that I did this the following day, since I could not drive my company vehicle vehicle after the end of that day. As bad luck would have it, I was running extremely behind schedule and wouldn't be able to get to the dealership until after they closed at 9pm. Jeff actually stayed there waiting for me in the parking lot almost an hour after the dealership closed so that he could give me my keys and park my fleet vehicle in a safe place because he knew how important me having that new vehicle was for starting my new job the following day. This dude worked a full late day, stayed an hour after close, and took care of my turn-in vehicle all for the benefit of his customer. In this day and age of people only caring about themselves, we need to recognize good salespeople like this that are willing to do the extra for their customers like Jeff did for me. This is a class act dealership, and I believe that such professional salesmanship needs to be recognized and rewarded for taking care of its customers. More
