I chose Champion Chevrolet because of their reputation for being fair and reasonable. My brother-in-law had purchased a new Equinox from Champion and he was very pleased. Great overall experience. I live in Chattanooga (went to college in Johnson City) and drove over 200 miles to get a car from Champion. They had the vehicle I wanted and my dad had previously had a good exp college in Johnson City) and drove over 200 miles to get a car from Champion. They had the vehicle I wanted and my dad had previously had a good experience purchasing a truck from Champion. I dealt with the internet sales manager, Dave Palmer. He was very friendly, straight forward and helpful. We agreed on a price and I made the trip to Johnson City on a Friday afternoon. The vehicle was washed, waxed, and ready to go when I got there. He even already had the paperwork filled out so that it would not take as long. Furthermore, he was thoughtful enough to refrain from putting a dealer sticker on the car since I will likely have it serviced at the Chevy dealer in Chattanooga. Better yet, there was no need to haggle about the price and they didn't try to pull any tricks with added fees or junk like that. They were even able to get me a lower APR on the loan than my bank. I highly recommend the dealership and the sales person. I'm very picky about my vehicles and don't like to put up with a lot of B.S. from sales people so it was definitely worth the drive to work with Champion. More

We dealt with salesman Tom Lyman. My husband and I were dead set on getting a 2008 Chevy Equinox. It takes us a while to make a big decision, so Tom let us keep the car overnight. However, I had also bee dead set on getting a 2008 Chevy Equinox. It takes us a while to make a big decision, so Tom let us keep the car overnight. However, I had also been looking at a 2008 Ford Edge at a different dealership. We test drove that car and I decided that I liked it better than the Equinox. So, we took the Equinox back to Champion Chevrolet and let Tom in on what was going on. My husband and I went to 3 (far too many) dealerships for the Ford Edge and we were so upset with those dealership's customer service compared to Champion Chevrolet's that we said "forget it" about getting an Edge. We went back on a Monday to Champion Chevrolet to talk to Tom about a few different cars and we ended up getting a brand new 2011 Chevy Traverse well within the budget that we talked to Tom about. It was a great experience at Champion Chevrolet with Tom and the whole team. I would highly recommend this dealership for buying a new or used car!!! More
