Champaign Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Check engine light came on day after we bought it DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM CHAMPAIGN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM! Save yourself the nightmare we are going through. Now anybody that knows us knows we rare DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM CHAMPAIGN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM! Save yourself the nightmare we are going through. Now anybody that knows us knows we rarely put our problems on fb for everyone to see. And trust me we have had alot of bad luck but since our kids are alive and healthy we try not to complain because we know things could always be worse. That being said we recently purchased a 2009 buick enclave from them with roughly 92,000 mi on it. We knew buying used u always take a risk but coming from a bigger dealership and paying over $10,000 for it u expect them to be halfway honest with u and there were no lights on and it seemed to run great. Well the very next day after buying it the check engine light came on. What a coincidence. So we took it back in and the mechanic told us the catalitic converter was bad and needed changed. After talking to the manager jake hendershot he refused to replace it because it would cost them too much and instead convinced us it was just an O2 sensor. Apparently he must of had a little talk with his mechanic because afterwards he agreed that was all that was wrong. Well we didnt even make it home and the check engine light came right back on. Took it back and they refused to do anything else with it saying it was fixed and the light would go off after we drove it awhile. Sounded fishy to us but we arent mechanics and he had his mechanic assure us everything was ok. Well a month later me, my wife and our 3 kids found ourselves stranded on the side of the road 40 miles from home. Had it towed to our local dealership to find out one converter had completely busted inside and the other one was completely clogged. Would cost around $3000 just in parts to have them fix it. So having no choice we replaced both converters thinking the nightmare was over. Well not even a 2 days later we were driving and the car started intermittently misfiring while accelerating then the check engine light came back on and started flashing meaning something is seriously wrong. So right now the car is back in shop and we are nervously waiting to see just how much this is going to cost us. Dont buy from here I would hate for anybody else to have to go through all the trouble we are having More

Used vehicle Ryan was the sales team member that we dealt with. He was very polite and nice to talk to.
