The Don Chalmers Ford service department identified exactly what was wrong with my F-150 and fixed it while I waited in the comfort of their waiting area. I was expecting a major undertaking & expense with my truck, but that wasn't the case and I was in and out with little out of pocket expense. I definitely recommend Don Chalmers Ford and their fine service department. More
I went to the dealership looking for a new Focus I saw online. when my husband and I got there they let me test drive it, but showed me a couple of others as well in my price range. I ended up finding a used focus that was even better than the one I originally thought I wanted, and for even less than what I was willing to spend...and it came with sync which is sweeeeeet! overall it was a great experience, and I would for sure buy from Don Chalmers Ford again!! I was not dealt with honestly. When I went in and to order the car, was told they would give me $11,400 for my trade in. I told them that it was not enough. So, they came back and said okay, $12300 is order the car, was told they would give me $11,400 for my trade in. I told them that it was not enough. So, they came back and said okay, $12300 is the best they could do. I agreed to that, but when the car got there, and I went in to pay for it, the trade in was back to $11,400. It was obvious that they only said they would give more so that I would order the car. Because of the dishonesty of this transaction, I will not recommend this dealership to anyone. As a matter of fact, I manage a Curves and will make sure that all 600 of my members know to never deal with them. More
Went shopping for a new ford 500. I fell in the parking lot and sprained my ankle, no ice or even a glass of water offered. Then the sales guy took my keys hostage--i had to ask for them back 3 times befor lot and sprained my ankle, no ice or even a glass of water offered. Then the sales guy took my keys hostage--i had to ask for them back 3 times before he would hand them over. Finally left at 9:30 at night. When we went back (I know, what were we thinking), the guy went to get a credit app, and never came back! At which point I left. I did speak with Mr. Chalmers, who was completely unconcerned about the poor service and the fact that I injured my ankle on his parking lot, due to the fact that HIS rocks were scattered everywhere. I will never step foot on that lot again. As a loyal Ford buyer of over 20 years, I will tell anyone I know who is shopping not to go to Don Chalmers. More
My husband and I were going to buy a used minivan but after trying to work a deal with them we called it quits. Three days later we were driving by the lot and we saw a sales sticker on the minivan we h after trying to work a deal with them we called it quits. Three days later we were driving by the lot and we saw a sales sticker on the minivan we had wanted for the exact price we had offered them a few days earlier. They could have had it sold had they just worked with us a few days before. Not very nice to deal with. More
