He takes the time to understand what I am looking for and makes the car sales experience a simple, yet pleasant experience. Jim has taken the time to truly understand my needs and so when I come in, he knows and understands exactly what I am looking for. Once I finish with Jim, it does not end. There is a lot of paperwork that goes into purchasing a vehicle, but Jackie Sidden walks us through this and makes sure that we understand and are satisfied with every paper we are signing and she does so in the most professional and friendly way you will ever experience. Once we have completed the paperwork they will then escort you to your new vehicle, but you do not get the treatment of some dealerships that say we have your money, now we don't care about you. Mike Michnuk and his delivery team walk you through the entire vehicle and make sure you understand how everything works and that you are completely happy with the delivery of your vehicle. They even take the time to introduce you to Mike Zeyen and the Service team to get you set up for follow up service. This is a true example of service after the sale and taking the extra step to continue a long lasting relationship of making sure you enjoy your vehicle long after you drive it off the lot. We purchased our F-250 Super Duty in November 2010 from Don Chalmers' Ford. We checked with other dealers in Albuqurque, and the price was very competative, but more than that, the sales personnel really Don Chalmers' Ford. Soon after, our sales person moved away. We had many questions about our beautiful new "Beast", as this is the first new truck we've had since 1993, and there are so many bells and whistles that didn't exist 18 years ago! We have dropped in on Jason Jantz in the service department at Don Chalmers' Ford many times without notice, with many questions. Jason alway takes the time to answer the questions, making sure we really 'get it'. He is very patient, clear and concise with us 'old geezers', and we have the utmost confidence that he will take care of us honestly and professionally. There was nothing in inventory to match, so he ordered me a new one. It arrived early, at a time when i was just recuperating from a vacation & gearing up for a new semester. Greg was patient with me, secured me a wonderful financing package, and worked with me throughout the process. When the time came, he handed me over to Jackie Sidden for the final paperwork. She was patient with my initial reluctance to buy any aftercare packages, and was patient & affable as we went through the considerable paperwork involved. While his level of service was exceptional, I find that often times a sales associate eager to make a sale would strive to provide good service. Where Ken truly excelled was when I asked for time to consider my offers. His level of professionalism didn't change a bit. I looked briefly into a rival dealer in the Albuquerque area, and they refused to leave me along after repeatedly asking for space and time. They called and interrupted movies, important phone calls, and time with my family. At the end of the day what sold me on Don Chalmers was their ability to treat me with unwavering courtesy even in the face of a potentially lost customer. Thanks again.
