I bought a BEAUTIFUL 2010 Fusion, but was treated like it was a brand new purchase. After shopping for months, no one in town was as professional or gave the same level of service as Amy and Jackie. I loved the experience I had at Don Chalmers. We've bought cars from Ford before, but we've never been offered any of the extended car packages that we were offered here. We shopped around and Don Chalmers had the best features for the price. I couldn't be happier with my car. We bought the maintenance package which includes check-ups, tire rotations, oil and filter changes, and a vast variety of other things for a few more dollars on our monthly payments. I went in for a service lately and it was fantastic. I didn't have to pay for anything and my car is running as smooth as the day we drove off the lot. This dealership is honest and I strongly recommend buying your vehicles from here. Other dealerships we looked at had bigger incentives, but at a much higher price point. More
I actually purchased my 2012 F-150 Lariat about 2 weeks ago with the help of Moses Dean and Krista Silva. In less than 2 hours they had a selection of vehicles for me to look at that would fit my budget. I sincerely did not believe that I would be able to get into a brand new truck, but they did it. Even though I had to compromise on an item or 2, I was thrilled when I learned that not only was the interest rate more reasonable than I was expecting, they also got me a monthly payment $100 below the cap I gave them. The day after I took delivery I contacted Moses Dean to inform him that I had hard water marks/stains from tip-to-tail of the vehicle. He immediately put me in touch with Diana Treat. Diana scheduled a day and time for me to return the vehicle for an acid-wash the following week. The day before I was to bring the truck in for the appointment, I visited with Moses who then introduced me to Mike McCracken to discuss additional accessories I was interested in. After selecting the items I wanted installed, Mike coordinated with Diana to keep the vehicle for installation of the accessories. My truck was now "complete" with everything I wanted in the vehicle and there was no delay in having it ready for pickup when promised. Having purchased some 9 new vehicles in my lifetime, I can say with all honesty that my experience with Don Chalmers Ford has been nothing short of unexpected surprises from each person and department I have dealt with. To make things even better is the fact that everyone involved with this dealership makes a point of letting their customers know how much they really do care and make every effort to ensure we are taken care of in every way possible. I arrived at Don Chalmers around 5:00 PM on 2-13-13 to test drive and possibly buy a Ford Focus ST. I was greeted by a nice secretary who brought out a sales person Mark W. I asked if he had any Ford Focu test drive and possibly buy a Ford Focus ST. I was greeted by a nice secretary who brought out a sales person Mark W. I asked if he had any Ford Focus ST's in stock and Mark showed me one on the show room floor that was blue with black leather. This was what I was looking for and I asked Mark if I could go for a test drive. Mark said it would be no problem and left to get the keys for the vehicle. When Mark returned, he did not have the keys and said, "I could not go on a test drive because of insurance reasons". I asked what that meant and he said, "it was a high performance machine". I then told him it was a Ford Focus and it was listed for $29,798. You have Ford trucks that cost more than this. I then told Mark that I was going to go to another dealership that lets me test drive cars and I would buy one from them. Mark stated, "ok". I asked Mark do you have a sales manager I could talk to? He brought out a sales manager that just stated the same thing as Mark but he added that this car was a high performance machine and they don't let people drive it. The sales people at this dealership are lacking knowledge and customer service. I could understand not being able to test drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini, but this was a Ford Focus ST listed under 30K. What is going on with Don Chalmers customer service and test driving cars?
