The owner of this business is shady and not a man of his word. His employees are good guys but he treats them horrible and he treats his customers worse. He sells cars he says are “certified” yet he poste word. His employees are good guys but he treats them horrible and he treats his customers worse. He sells cars he says are “certified” yet he posted the auto I traded in the next day for $4,000 more then he paid me and I assure you it wasn’t certified in less then 24 hours. The car I purchased had an issue that needed repair. He promised me it would be fixed then wouldn’t give me my car back until I paid part of the repair. The car is nice but the price wasn’t cheap enough to compensate for the horrific treatment. More
WARNING: The following is a true and honest account of my customer experience at Certified Luxury Auto between 4/26/2021-4/27/2021. I can only presume that the owner of this dealership, Mo, is going to respo customer experience at Certified Luxury Auto between 4/26/2021-4/27/2021. I can only presume that the owner of this dealership, Mo, is going to respond and try to discredit this review. I encourage you to read his responses to other reviews. He thanks the positive reviews but denies and attacks those who review critically. This account shows he is a dishonest, unethical, and hopelessly disorganized dealership owner, and that it is in every potential customer's best interest to shop elsewhere. I have no reason to lie about my experience here. I found a used MB cla 250 I liked from this dealership listed on edmunds.com. It seemed like an unbelievably good price and I went in for a test drive. I loved the car and the price, so I applied through the dealership for a loan. I was approved and paid a down payment to secure the car. He said he would install a backup camera as part of the deal, but couldn't give me a straight answer on how much it would cost, who would pay the cost, and when it would be ready. He originally said he would pay for it, then offered later to add it to price of the car. This should have shown me enough that this was not the kind of dealership I would be smart to buy from. My second cue was that he never showed me any paperwork for the sale, proof of the loan approval, or bill of sale while I was applying for the loan and preparing to sign the paperwork the following day. I returned the next day to sign for the car. When I arrived, he told me he had sold the car already on an online auction site for more than I was going to pay. He offered a feeble excuse that he had merely "forgotten" the car was still isted on the site after I paid for it. He went on to excuse himself by saying he auction site would terminate his membership if he sold me the car at this point. No, they would not. I had already made a down payment for the car. The only reason he was denying me the car was that I was going to be paying less, I had rejected his 5 different pitches to buy a warranty plan for the car, and that I was having him pay to install a backup camera as part of the deal. In reality, he didn't care about the legal contract made when I had paid to reserve the car the day before. He used the opportunity to sell the car out from under me despite our contract, only for a larger bottom line. As anyone could imagine, I was beyond upset. While he was refunding the down payment he even said "my heart breaks every time I have to give back money. As a businessman, I only want to make money." This verbatim quote should show any potential customers where Mo's priorites exclusively lie. He doesn't care about the customer, the experience, or apparently any binding contract once money is paid to reserve a car. He will sell it out from under you if the price is right. I called the sales representative that I had been dealing with at the dealership and she lamented to me that this was not the first time that had happened. 3 other previous customers (at least that this sales representative had dealt with, perhaps more) had endured the same experience I had. We all had pursued the cars we had loved. We had applied for loans (including hard credit inquiries which would negatively impact our credit scores), and we had reserved the cars with down payments. All 4 of us had the cars we were in the process process buying sold out from under us at the last minute. The sales representative had even expressed mutual feelings of anger, frustration, and disgust towards Mo since he had cheated her as well out of her commission for these contracted sales. I advised her to find a better workplace and knew what I had to do as a consumer. I despise seeing any person, myself included, being lied to and manipulated due to another person's greed. Please, out of my genuine concern for your car shopping experience, including any money and time you would spend here, I ask you to shop elsewhere for your new car. I do not want to see another custoner go through this experience at Certified Luxury Auto. I sincerely thank you for reading my true and honest account of my experience here, and I wish you all good luck on your car search at other dealerships More
This dealership is a joke. There is no other words to describe them. PLEASE STAY AWAY. You can read my reviews regarding the vehicle itself. But now, lets talk about why after a month that we don't have describe them. PLEASE STAY AWAY. You can read my reviews regarding the vehicle itself. But now, lets talk about why after a month that we don't have our license plate or registration. After they charged me an absurd amount for dealer doc fees ($800) I now find out (after calling to enquire) that I need to get emissions done on the vehicle. THEY SOLD ME A VEHICLE THAT DOES NOT HAVE VALID EMISSIONS...... You really can't make this stuff up. Dont make the same mistake I did. DO NOT SHOP HERE. More
Please do not shop here. Save yourself time, money, and headache and buy elsewhere. I bought a used car from here on a Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning I had a puddle of oil and transmission fluid under headache and buy elsewhere. I bought a used car from here on a Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning I had a puddle of oil and transmission fluid under the vehicle. In the last two weeks I’ve called 25 or more times. Mostly ignored, several times hung up on. When I purchased the vehicle it needed 5 new tires, a new muffler, an alignment, and was missing some interior panels. We negotiated $1000 off the price. I’ve since discovered that both transmission cooler lines are cracked and leaking, the rear main seal of the motor is out and leaking oil, the windshield wipers don’t work, and one of the headlight bezels is broken. This dealership refuses to help in any way. In fact at one point the owner Mo asked me for $1000. I chose to buy a used car from a dealership as I figured they would stand behind the vehicle they sold. Not this place. BUYER BEWARE. Please note they claim a 30 day power train warranty with all of their vehicles, the motor and transmission fall into this category, both have severe leaks and will be destroyed within weeks if not addressed. AGAIN BUYER BEWARE. More
Seamless delivery These guys were excellent! They communicated well in the process and as a buyer from out of state (Colorado) they made me feel extremely comfortable e These guys were excellent! They communicated well in the process and as a buyer from out of state (Colorado) they made me feel extremely comfortable every step of the way. They provided in depth background on the car and even detailed it before sending it off to me! The paperwork was easy, they are very professional and I never felt the typical “dealership stress” that comes with car buying. Overall a very laid-back and simple experience. More
They Will Work With You I am a student fresh out of college, working full-time. My previous car was basically done for as far as maintenance vs. the value of the car, but I r I am a student fresh out of college, working full-time. My previous car was basically done for as far as maintenance vs. the value of the car, but I received a fair trade for my vehicle. After a couple of months of attempting different banks, with my fair-good credit score and not the best income being straight out of college, Mo at Certified Luxury Auto was able to find me the best deal on my new 2011 Mini Cooper S with a payment less than $200 per month and an extremely low APR. So far, I love my Mini Cooper and I truly appreciate all the help Mo provided. More
