Not the fastest deal ever, but smooth After hunting the Internet for a week, finally got it down to a few dealers and got a committed price from Thad &his mgr. Frustrating from beginning to end Where to start...I was in the market for a Jeep type vehicle and decided to stop into Cerritos to look at some vehicles. I was met by a sales person Where to start...I was in the market for a Jeep type vehicle and decided to stop into Cerritos to look at some vehicles. I was met by a sales person named edgar. He seemed fine at first but after awhile he sort of lost me. I was looking at the cherokee at first at a certain package that included nav and rear back up camera...due to space issues I was lead to a comparable grand cherokee (price wise), it was stated that the grand cherokee had very similar features to the cherokee. After looking over the GC i pulled the trigger to do a deal with an understanding that i was getting nav and back up camera, but once the inked dried to my surprise it did not have these features. Before this happened, I was trading in a 2013 lexus es 350...they low balled my trade offer and ended up listing it for approx 7k more. Just a bit of a slap in the face. I originally suggested financing terms when i told they offered great rebates and discounts. I have tier one excellent credit and was surprised it was so difficult to get some fair numbers together after a back and forth i decided to lease which i felt i was pushed to. After completing the paperwork and coming to terms of being mislead to the Nav system I shortly realized that I was without back up camera. To my disappointment I immediately called the sales person Edger voicing my disappointment in the purchase with wishes to return the car (this was within 2 hours of sale. I was told by edgar that he was escalating this the sales manager eddie neiri and he would immediately call me back to resolve. After numerous texts and calls that were not return and given the run around for 24 hours I was called back. I voiced my concern of my experience and stated that I was willing to work around this if i could at least get the back up camera installed with a comprised price to compensate for an awful experience. After a week of back and forth and calls with people who did not why I was calling or going on, even though i was told my case was being handled at the management level. So I finally come back to dealership to work on getting a back up camera installed and after haggling through a fair price, in which the sales team would not cop to a wrongdoing of miscommunication, so I settled on a price and I went in for the install. Needless to say I was surprised that they messed that up as well. I was quoted 2-3 hours but ended up taking 6 hours, plus when i got the car back with camera installed there was mis-wiring that caused my steering wheel controls to not work...i noticed this as i took the car to go home. So the technician didn't seem to check its work before completing. I took it back...got it fix to find out the license plate doesn't work, so i need to go back in. Long story short from start to finish this was a horrible experience, plus the fact they dont seem to want to really help resolve this.
