Tried to purchase a CPO 5 series...after a couple very, very pleasant conversations-they called me in follow up. I was about to purchase the car and during the conversation I was unleashed on. He told me very pleasant conversations-they called me in follow up. I was about to purchase the car and during the conversation I was unleashed on. He told me how well he knew his business, how many cars he had sold last month, whatever someone else had told me was wrong and they do not know what they are talking about, etc.. and hung up the phone on me. My other half was sitting with me a my desk during this, looked at me and said "my gosh, what was that all about?". I can only guess he apparently was just having a bad day and decided I was to be vented on. Glad I found out BEFORE I purchased (as I was literally just about to buy the car!). We prefer doing business with friendly people and something had him really riled up and I did not appreciate that treatment. That type SALES approach is odd to me. We did purchase elsewhere and are very happy. Still unclear as to why I was treated that way. More
SO I've taken may car there for the last 4 time to get various services done including the normal 15k services in which I just had 2 months ago. I drive only 700 miles a month so not much ware and tare on my BMW. On the last service the did all the normal (or least I was told they did) oil, change, brake service even changing 6+ hoses. They even recommend a fuel flush to clean out all my injectors and fuel system in which I agreed to in the end the service all ran over $1500. No problem, cars need maintenance I understand things go bad and need to get get tuned to work. Well I just went back to them today because my "Engine Needs service soon" light went on on a trip back from AZ. Well the service manager called me a little while later and went over the list of things that needed to be replaced/fixed/repaired including a computer reset. I realized that it sounded just like what I just had done in 2 months prior he even mentioned getting the fuel flush. And when I called him on that he just said "Oh well you're right, then let me take those things off the list and now you owe..." WHAT? So I'm just having them take care of the computer rest and I'm and I am no longer going to Century West BMW ever again! And I highly recommend that if you have them list everything that they do and get everything in writing. More
Wow. Have leased several cars from these guys with no problems and the service department is absolutely fantastic. Had a major misunderstanding on a lease, wasted my time and they more or less made me fe problems and the service department is absolutely fantastic. Had a major misunderstanding on a lease, wasted my time and they more or less made me feel like it was my fault when it was clearly all theirs. Bad communication, horrible treatment and no ability to right wrongs. if you want to get treated like a number or I should say "unit" then go here. BMW should be ashamed of the GM running this operation, total jokers. More
I have purchased 2 cars over the last 5 years. I was quite happy until very recently. (10/22/08). I took my car to a tire dealership to replace my tires at which time I was informed that the key provide quite happy until very recently. (10/22/08). I took my car to a tire dealership to replace my tires at which time I was informed that the key provided for the wheel lock did not fit. (No big deal, so I thought) I called the dealership, which was right down the street and was told I needed to DRIVE in and make an appointment. Long story short, I had my tires replaced; went to the dealership, and they questioned me as to why the key to the lock nut that was in the trunk did not fit the lock nut on the wheel, to which I responded (on more than 1 occasion "you tell me, I purchased the car here") I was told they would need to get an OK from a service manager. FINE!! At this point, I really am furious becoause I spent a lot of time at both the tire shop and at the BMW dealer. I then get my car back with the STATEMENT on my service statement saying "client states no wheel lock was found when replacing the tires...wrong key supplied." WHAT A LIE!!!! Was anyone listening?!!!! I clearly and emphatically stated that the wrong key was supplied. The resolution statement on their behalf was "INSTALL NEW LOCK SET< OK AS ONE TIME GOODWILL PER ***** ******" I am not a charity case and I don't care about the price of the lock set, but don't call ME a liar and don't treat me like a charity case when they are getting their money. Last time client, EVER!!! What a BIG LETDOWN BWM!!! More

I was referred to David Carozza in sales by one of my wife's friends, who has purchased several BMW's from the dealership. When we arrived, we were approached outside by Bill Bigalow. He seemed friendly, not the typical salesman. I asked for David Carozza, who happened to be walking by. He was in a rush, but introduced himself and told me that Bill could show me some cars and answer any questions I might have, but that he was available to assist me as well. The interaction with Bill was quite enjoyable and relaxing. David Carozza turned out to be the Manager of the Dept., and I was extremely pleased with his numbers and professionalism. All in all, my wife and I are very pleased with our experience at Century west BMW and would highly recommend them to any friend. -liz and Richard More
My E36 was having major problems, so I went to Century West to get it checked out. Diagnostics alone cost me $126, and they wanted to charge me $4,000+ to replace the catalytic converter and a slew of oth West to get it checked out. Diagnostics alone cost me $126, and they wanted to charge me $4,000+ to replace the catalytic converter and a slew of other issues. I wish there was a negative rating option for pricing! When I said I was going to get a second opinion, they refused to print out a detailed list of repairs and costs. After some serious nudging I finally got a guy to handwrite a very spare list of problems on a piece of scrap paper. I definitely felt like I was getting second-hand treatment because I'm a woman in my 20's. I went down the street to an independent service place and paid half of what Century West wanted to charge, and with MUCH better and friendlier service. Avoid Century West for service issues! More

I had a great experience with an online purchase thru autotrader with Century West via salesman Clinton Jackson. No haggle, I left an inquiry email, he responded by phone. I simply specified the price I autotrader with Century West via salesman Clinton Jackson. No haggle, I left an inquiry email, he responded by phone. I simply specified the price I wanted to pay, which was $7,500 UNDER edmonds blue book. Clinton within 5 min. contacted me back, and not only accepted the offer, but found shipping for me for the price I was looking at. The easiest car purchase I have ever made. The bonus of it all, is that the car had even MORE costly feature options then was described in the ad. The car was flawless. 22,000 miles, a 2004 325Ci convertible. It was certified and in amazing condition...After the purchase, I needed several manuals which he promptly sent to me fed ex overnight....He repsponded quickly to all of my calls. The best deal I could find here in Oregon or WA was $7,000 above what I bought the car for. He sent me the inspection list for certification, the carfax, and all manuals! I am confidently referring a friend in the future that is getting ready to make a similar purchase. As stated, my experience was only with sales, but WOW!! What was a risky purchase, site unseen, turned out better than I expected!! If you decide to use Century West, I highly recommend asking for Clinton Jackson. Tell him Angie in Portland said he was great! More
