I contacted Brandon Huston Sales Manager to buy a 2022 jeep for my son that they had for sale, the price was agreed, we agreed that I would go the following Saturday for the Jeep. It would be a trip of approximately 4 hours from Miami, so I had to do some family and work planning. I also stopped looking at two other jeeps near here in Miami because I had already given my word that I would go on Saturday for their jeep and for me the word and commitment of a man is worth a lot. The day before the trip I checked their website and to my surprise I realized that they had sold it. No one ever contacted me even though they had my information, which disappointed me quite a bit because the communication with them had been very fluid and very kind. I was particularly interested in this dealership because of the good reviews, now I doubt that most of them are real customers... Here is the opinion of a real customer and the experience with them was very disappointing. Remember, car dealers, the Internet exists and bad reviews stay on the Internet forever. More

Reached out using their price watch feature on a used unit. You would believe it would simply notify you when price drops, right ?? Warn the salesperson that I will not discuss the highly manipulative market price published. If that's the only deal, just say so and stop the xx. Next, I get an Invoice (aka Buyers Order) with MARKET PRICE. You want to start the process and sell a car without reading nor following the client's request. We did NOT even discuss a fair price. So now you are blocked, cancelled, and poor review as warned. Why not simply act like a professional and reply with transparency. It's such a shame dealer like Central Buick / GMC believe this is the only way to sell a car in 2024. Now for those that don't know, Market Pricing, is the newest way for dealers to scope other units in a perimeter and calculate, to base their LISTED price. It also is highly manipulated by dealer and choice. Also, it uses KBB as a base which is again manipulated, as vehicle sold price is often increased to help with financing and trade in value as well as removing negative equity. This NOT what the car actually sold for before figures were increased. In the old days one dealer would take a car in at xxx and then list (not sell) the car at a markup often added across the board. You would work from the floor to the list price in negotiation. This dealer also adds the extraneous dealer prep/handling charge and gooses up the other tag and recording fees beyond real cost. Fair enough when disclosed up front so that consumer can negotiate or accept it. This is an extra thousand bucks for dealer in pure fee income. I would never consider this dealer in future. My recommendation to Central Buick is to be fair, be transparent, and perhaps listen to the client and try to do business as they request. Or just say "no thank you" and move on. Certainly, wished the price watch button was as offered as described, a simple electronic alert if pricing changed. More
