Worst Service Department Ever My wife leased a Jeep here 16 months ago. The purchase process was satisfactory. Since leasing the Jeep we have had nothing but bad experiences with the Service Department. They are both rude and incompetent. The check tire pressure light kept coming on and about once a week one tire kept needing a few pounds of air. We took the car in to the service department and they said they could not find anything wrong with the tire. Two days later it was completely flat in our driveway requiring my wife to call AAA to help her change the tire. Took the tire into a tire place and they immediately found a nail. How much of an expert factory certified mechanic does one need to be to find a nail in a tire? Then we started to have problem with the car rolling backward while in park. This is Jeep has a different transmission than the one in 2015 that had all the problem with people not knowing if the car was in park or not. This transmission is clearly marked. This happened twice... both times about an hour or two after the car had been parked it rolled five feet backwards out of our driveway into a public street. We are lucky no one was injured or killed. I took the Jeep into the service department and the expert behind the counter told me all Jeeps roll backwards when you put them into park. Let me repeat this... the factory certified Jeep expert mechanic stated clearly, "All Jeeps roll backwards when in park." Right there is reason enough to never buy another Jeep product as long as I live. In addition to the rolling backwards issue, I also mentioned that whenever we ran the heat it smelled like something was burning inside the cabin and I often smelled something burning when walking past the front of the car after parking it. None of these issues could be replicated by the "expert" mechanics and I was told there was nothing wrong with the car in a very rude manner. When I picked up the car I went to the receptionist and asked to speak with the general manager. She asked me, "Why?" I responded that I wanted to speak to the general manager. She asked why again. This went back and forth three or four times. She then told me to sit and she would get him for me. I walked away from the reception area and watched the receptionist for ten minutes. She made no effort to contact the general manager or have him some speak with me. This receptionist is both rude and incompetent. So... I found the general manager on my own... a Mr. Jim Ingenito. I relayed all of the above complaints to Mr. Ingenito and he apologized. He said that he had heard some similar complaints in the past. He asked me if I would give him the opportunity to make all of these negative experiences right. I said OK. He promised to call me the next day, have me come back to have his "best man" look at the car and offered me a loaner while they looked the car over. Mr. Ingenito is NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD! He did not call me the next day... or the day after that. He has not called me at all. Therefore, he did not have anyone look at this defective vehicle. In my opinion the general manager, the service manager and the receptionist should all be fired. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone for anything. I have bought dozens of new cars in my life. Twenty years ago I worked in the auto sales industry. In all of my experiences this dealership ranks among the very worst. More

Unhappy consumer I am not impressed. I have a brand new 2015 Jeep cherokee that I had to tow with roadside assistance to central avenue on a saturday. They called me I am not impressed. They called me on Monday morning seeming to have no idea that it was even towed there and it took them all day to look at the car. They do not have a replacement vehicle program so I am stuck without a car and they are taking there sweet time taking a look at my vehicle to find out what the problem is. A brand new vehicle with a problem, in my opinion, should take priority. This is my second lease with central avenue and, at this point, will never use them again. More

The Sales crew is equally fantastic as they always strive to listen to your concerns and help you purchase or lease the vehicle of your dreams. We are coming up on the end of our lease term so we will be heading over to Central Ave Jeep Dodge Ram to get into our next new vehicle! More

My fiance went to get her vehicle serviced and showed up at 0715hrs. The service person stated she did not have a reciept for the service which she came for and he stated he would not even touch the vehicle until 0900hrs which is when the supposed sales dept employee's show up to substantiate the work she was do for. She informed the service person that she would be willing to pay for the work if they felt unsure of the work guaranteed on the reciept and that she would resolve the matter at a later time. She just wanted to have the work done because she lives far from Yonkers and this was the place she purchased her vehicle.She asked what would be the problem in that. Then the manager decides to insult her by talking down to her and accusing her of being mentally unstable followed by a threat to have her removed. When she replied as to why she was being denied service he then denied ever having said the vehicle would not be worked on instead of acting professionally by providing the service he should have in the first place. I also feel had he confronted a man in this manner the outcome would have been much different. Ultimately he embarassed her in front of other poeple by inviting them into the conversation and questioning her integrity adding to more insult. I am a veteran and I can promise this will go to corporate headquarters and we will demand a course of action against this blatent and disrespectful behavior and request a follow up as well. Lesson here is to treat others as you would like to be treated. And if you own or work for a business then it's all about customer service. More

Brought vehicle in multiple times for recalls. Gave them all the recall info up front so they knew what needed to be done. Dropped the car off... it was not ready when they said it would be. Eventually went to pick it up and was told I had to bring it back because they needed to order parts for one of the recalls. I wish they told me that up front because now I had to bring the vehicle in AGAIN, wasting my time. Also, had taken taxis home multiple times until I learned they had a drop off service. I asked them to drop me off at home one time and was told they were short staffed and could not do it. What a surprise. I had additional similar experiences of them wasting my time, but you get the point. I would never buy a new vehicle from this place knowing in advance how their service is. More
