There service department at this dealership does not understand what true customer service is. When called they do not answer the phone; all calls get sent to voicemail and are never returned. On the occasion when I was able to get through, they stated we will get back to you, but will not call you back. Not even the service manager has the courtesy to return calls. They refused to fix a warrantied item on my Jeep, I had to deal directly with the manufactured in order to have my Jeep fixed. They are not trustworthy so do not bother dealing with this dealership. I will NEVER go back to Central Ave Jeep! GM does not care I had always DREAMED of owning a Jeep and between the vehicle & treatment by Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Yonkers, NY, management & Service Dept, it’s b I had always DREAMED of owning a Jeep and between the vehicle & treatment by Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Yonkers, NY, management & Service Dept, it’s been a NIGHTMARE. I bought ‘19 #Jeep Cherokee in Aug. ‘18 from Central Avenue Jeep & it’s been 1 disappointment after another. Despite updates, UConnect failed several times. Happened to many others. Failed again last night and now I have no sound system in my Jeep that is less than 1 year old. I owned another brand for 30 yrs. If I could, I’d return for refund. * It's worth noting that at the time of this review their DealerRater rating is 3.9 out of 5 * That is much lower than many other similar dealers in the area, who have 4.9 ratings, so I am not the only one who feels this way. There have been many issues with Central Ave Jeep, as follows. - The service dept treated me AWFULLY - GM Jimmy Ingenito did NOT care about my issues. - GM Jimmy Ingenito told me Central Ave Jeep was “not perfect,” but did NOTHING to resolve. - Loaner car filthier each time (NEVER cleaned!) w/ sticky steering wheel; food, plastic forks & knives, kids toys & GARBAGE! - Service Mgr did NOT return my calls - Omar in service dept treated me like garbage & like the service dept was doing me a favor by servicing my car. * After posting a similar review on Central Avenue Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram's Facebook Page & tweeting at them, GM Jimmy Ingenito called me, which was strange. When I was standing right in front of him, and talking to him face to face, he just shrugged and did nothing to resolve my issues as noted above. * I missed GM Jimmy Ingenito's call & called him back. * GM Jimmy Ingenito did NOT return my call After several terrible & stressful service visits, I decided there was NO reason to go back, EVER. There are too many other better options around that understand how to treat someone like a valued customer. More

Liars & unprofessional My bf & I both own Jeeps & wanted to take them in for service repairs. Mind you, he has an unlimited lifetime warranty & I don’t. When he called this morning he was told there are no openings & the service representative was very rude with him giving him one word answers to everything, “no” & “nope”. When I called for my Jeep, they suddenly had an opening for Monday morning. Shady practices? Now we have to take our jeeps to the Bronx as they were courteous & have time for his Jeep also. Makes no sense & this will affect our holiday trip next week with family. I can’t believe how they outright lied. To think this is our local Jeep dealer is incredible. More

SERVICE CENTER LIED ON INSPECTION REPORT Brought my vehicle here multiple times for recalls. On my last visit they returned the vehicle to me with the engine overheating and wanted me to pay Brought my vehicle here multiple times for recalls. On my last visit they returned the vehicle to me with the engine overheating and wanted me to pay for them to diagnose why the vehicle is overheating. They claimed they did a vehicle inspection, everything is fine, and the problem occurred after I drove off the lot. Based on their inspection report, it said the engine is fine and has coolant/antifreeze. I then called Jeep support center which told me they should not have charged me to diagnose the vehicle in such a short time frame and they will schedule the appointment for me free of charge. I retrieved my vehicle from Central Ave. service center and Marco (service center attendant) claims that they checked the vehicle for antifreeze. Marco doesn’t want to hear anything I am saying keeps talking over me like a fool and claims it was impossible for them to cause a problem (which is ridiculous to say when you were working on the vehicle and can guarantee there is no way they could make a mistake). I take the vehicle home and when I open the hood the vehicle needs antifreeze. They claimed on the inspection report the vehicle has antifreeze and Marco himself told me the vehicle has antifreeze. I don’t appreciate fake reports and liars which could jeopardize my vehicle and my safety. If you need service from a professional staff, go the service center on Boston Rd. in the Bronx, they are much more helpful and don’t lie. More
Worst Service Department Ever My wife leased a Jeep here 16 months ago. The purchase process was satisfactory. Since leasing the Jeep we have had nothing but bad experiences with My wife leased a Jeep here 16 months ago. The purchase process was satisfactory. Since leasing the Jeep we have had nothing but bad experiences with the Service Department. They are both rude and incompetent. The check tire pressure light kept coming on and about once a week one tire kept needing a few pounds of air. We took the car in to the service department and they said they could not find anything wrong with the tire. Two days later it was completely flat in our driveway requiring my wife to call AAA to help her change the tire. Took the tire into a tire place and they immediately found a nail. How much of an expert factory certified mechanic does one need to be to find a nail in a tire? Then we started to have problem with the car rolling backward while in park. This is Jeep has a different transmission than the one in 2015 that had all the problem with people not knowing if the car was in park or not. This transmission is clearly marked. This happened twice... both times about an hour or two after the car had been parked it rolled five feet backwards out of our driveway into a public street. We are lucky no one was injured or killed. I took the Jeep into the service department and the expert behind the counter told me all Jeeps roll backwards when you put them into park. Let me repeat this... the factory certified Jeep expert mechanic stated clearly, "All Jeeps roll backwards when in park." Right there is reason enough to never buy another Jeep product as long as I live. In addition to the rolling backwards issue, I also mentioned that whenever we ran the heat it smelled like something was burning inside the cabin and I often smelled something burning when walking past the front of the car after parking it. None of these issues could be replicated by the "expert" mechanics and I was told there was nothing wrong with the car in a very rude manner. When I picked up the car I went to the receptionist and asked to speak with the general manager. She asked me, "Why?" I responded that I wanted to speak to the general manager. She asked why again. This went back and forth three or four times. She then told me to sit and she would get him for me. I walked away from the reception area and watched the receptionist for ten minutes. She made no effort to contact the general manager or have him some speak with me. This receptionist is both rude and incompetent. So... I found the general manager on my own... a Mr. Jim Ingenito. I relayed all of the above complaints to Mr. Ingenito and he apologized. He said that he had heard some similar complaints in the past. He asked me if I would give him the opportunity to make all of these negative experiences right. I said OK. He promised to call me the next day, have me come back to have his "best man" look at the car and offered me a loaner while they looked the car over. Mr. Ingenito is NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD! He did not call me the next day... or the day after that. He has not called me at all. Therefore, he did not have anyone look at this defective vehicle. In my opinion the general manager, the service manager and the receptionist should all be fired. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone for anything. I have bought dozens of new cars in my life. Twenty years ago I worked in the auto sales industry. In all of my experiences this dealership ranks among the very worst. More
