Don't walk but rather run from this dealer. I purchased a "certified pre owned" Jeep from here and less than a year into owning it I got a check engine light and a start/stop malfunction light. I purchased a "certified pre owned" Jeep from here and less than a year into owning it I got a check engine light and a start/stop malfunction light. I scheduled for service and got my car back after having it checked out by the dealer. Lights came back on and took the car back. I paid $100 deductible for something to be changed that should have taken care of my issue...it didn't! Took my car back for a 3rd time when they decided to "recharge" the battery that operated the start/stop function. This time I opted to wait because they "don't provide loaners due to COVID". Let me mention that I bought the car during COVID but COVID must not be a issue when selling cars lmao. Took the car home and continued to have the same issue. I took my car back on a Thursday and got a call back the following Wednesday to come get the car while they order a new engine. Mind you...I was without a car for almost a week at this point. So while driving my car the car broke down on me (luckily not on the highway) and I had to have it towed back to the dealer. Again I am told no loaner through them due to COVID. My Mopar warranty would only cover a 5 day loaner. Once the 5 days were up I contacted corporate and corporate contacted the dealer and guess what? They were going to give me a loaner! So I pick up said loaner and besides it being dirty in the inside I also found paperwork for 2 previous customers who had the same loaner in August and December. I thought they don't do loaners due to COVID? so after about 2ish weeks I get a call back that my car is finally ready and as I am about to drive off I notice damage to my driver side doors that I knew was not there previously(the more visible damage was touched up with paint). I mentioned said damage to Ralph (who was the person I had been dealing with all along) he comes out to tell the the cover up paint looks old. I had valet search for picture of my car where it was visible that the damage was not there previously. He told me to call and ask to speak to Jack. The following morning Ralph calls me and tells me that if I gave them a good survey Jack would probably have my doors taken care of. I asked if it was a guarantee and he said no but that if I gave a bad survey he definitely would not fix it. Again he tells me the paint on the door looks old ( my car is white) so I responded that the paint they are using is sh*tty then. He then got offended and told me he didn't give a xxxx what I put on the survey. I later contacted Jack and provided him with pictures. Jack agreed to send my car to their body shop to have it fixed and that they would provide me with a loaner while the car was being taken care of(and I didn't even have to beg for a loaner this time ). I also let Jack know that there was a rattling noise from underneath ever since I got the car back. Finally got a call back as soon as my car was returned and they confirmed something was left loose on the bottom and that's why I heard the noise. I visually inspected the car and could finally say I left happy after the 6th time in like a 6 week time span. If you have to go there try to avoid being helped by Ralph unless you like getting played for a idiot or was it because I'm a woman? Thankfully I did not have to run into him the other 3 times I went back. This dealer will turn driving your "dream car" into your car worst nightmare. I do however want to thank Jack for taking responsibility. Ps- my husband drives a 2021 Dodge Ram and recently had it serviced at White Plains Jeep Dodge Chrysler and when I picked it up I asked if they do loaners and guess what? They do ! More
My 2015 Cherokee had a problem starting. The team (especially Marco) was very helpful. They held on to the car an extra night with my permission to make sure that when it was lying dormant it started (especially Marco) was very helpful. I've been using this dealership for many years starting with my first grand cherokee, then liberty and now the 2015 cherokee. I love their cars, and their service department/Marco always is attentive and capable and does excellent work. More
There service department at this dealership does not understand what true customer service is. When called they do not answer the phone; all calls get sent to voicemail and are never returned. On the occasion when I was able to get through, they stated we will get back to you, but will not call you back. Not even the service manager has the courtesy to return calls. They refused to fix a warrantied item on my Jeep, I had to deal directly with the manufactured in order to have my Jeep fixed. They are not trustworthy so do not bother dealing with this dealership. I will NEVER go back to Central Ave Jeep! GM does not care I had always DREAMED of owning a Jeep and between the vehicle & treatment by Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Yonkers, NY, management & Service Dept, it’s b I had always DREAMED of owning a Jeep and between the vehicle & treatment by Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Yonkers, NY, management & Service Dept, it’s been a NIGHTMARE. I bought ‘19 #Jeep Cherokee in Aug. ‘18 from Central Avenue Jeep & it’s been 1 disappointment after another. Despite updates, UConnect failed several times. Happened to many others. Failed again last night and now I have no sound system in my Jeep that is less than 1 year old. I owned another brand for 30 yrs. If I could, I’d return for refund. * It's worth noting that at the time of this review their DealerRater rating is 3.9 out of 5 * That is much lower than many other similar dealers in the area, who have 4.9 ratings, so I am not the only one who feels this way. There have been many issues with Central Ave Jeep, as follows. - The service dept treated me AWFULLY - GM Jimmy Ingenito did NOT care about my issues. - GM Jimmy Ingenito told me Central Ave Jeep was “not perfect,” but did NOTHING to resolve. - Loaner car filthier each time (NEVER cleaned!) w/ sticky steering wheel; food, plastic forks & knives, kids toys & GARBAGE! - Service Mgr did NOT return my calls - Omar in service dept treated me like garbage & like the service dept was doing me a favor by servicing my car. * After posting a similar review on Central Avenue Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram's Facebook Page & tweeting at them, GM Jimmy Ingenito called me, which was strange. When I was standing right in front of him, and talking to him face to face, he just shrugged and did nothing to resolve my issues as noted above. * I missed GM Jimmy Ingenito's call & called him back. * GM Jimmy Ingenito did NOT return my call After several terrible & stressful service visits, I decided there was NO reason to go back, EVER. There are too many other better options around that understand how to treat someone like a valued customer. More

Liars & unprofessional My bf & I both own Jeeps & wanted to take them in for service repairs. Mind you, he has an unlimited lifetime warranty & I don’t. When he called this morning he was told there are no openings & the service representative was very rude with him giving him one word answers to everything, “no” & “nope”. When I called for my Jeep, they suddenly had an opening for Monday morning. Shady practices? Now we have to take our jeeps to the Bronx as they were courteous & have time for his Jeep also. Makes no sense & this will affect our holiday trip next week with family. I can’t believe how they outright lied. To think this is our local Jeep dealer is incredible. More

SERVICE CENTER LIED ON INSPECTION REPORT Brought my vehicle here multiple times for recalls. On my last visit they returned the vehicle to me with the engine overheating and wanted me to pay Brought my vehicle here multiple times for recalls. On my last visit they returned the vehicle to me with the engine overheating and wanted me to pay for them to diagnose why the vehicle is overheating. They claimed they did a vehicle inspection, everything is fine, and the problem occurred after I drove off the lot. Based on their inspection report, it said the engine is fine and has coolant/antifreeze. I then called Jeep support center which told me they should not have charged me to diagnose the vehicle in such a short time frame and they will schedule the appointment for me free of charge. I retrieved my vehicle from Central Ave. service center and Marco (service center attendant) claims that they checked the vehicle for antifreeze. Marco doesn’t want to hear anything I am saying keeps talking over me like a fool and claims it was impossible for them to cause a problem (which is ridiculous to say when you were working on the vehicle and can guarantee there is no way they could make a mistake). I take the vehicle home and when I open the hood the vehicle needs antifreeze. They claimed on the inspection report the vehicle has antifreeze and Marco himself told me the vehicle has antifreeze. I don’t appreciate fake reports and liars which could jeopardize my vehicle and my safety. If you need service from a professional staff, go the service center on Boston Rd. in the Bronx, they are much more helpful and don’t lie. More
