To whom it may concern, I recently experienced a situation from June 24, 2024 at Nissian in Yonkers. My wife and I were interested in a Rogue but unfortunately due to circumstances for now we decide situation from June 24, 2024 at Nissian in Yonkers. My wife and I were interested in a Rogue but unfortunately due to circumstances for now we decided to wait and ask for our $500 cash deposit return after speaking with sales and the General Maneger. I had tried to complain in private and then to Consumer afairs division and I have not heard back from anyone. I felt the manager should have done the right thing to return our money. These kind of people need to be stopped in their tracks, and to ensure they are held accoutable for their actions. Finding out, in New York consumers generally don't have the right to cancel a car contract and receive a refund of their deposit. Unless the dealer doesn't post their refund policy. However, there are some exceptions. If the dealer helps arrange financing and the vehicle hasn't been picked up, the buyer can cancel before signing the finance agrement and receive a full refund. This is beyond ridiculous, how dishonest they are!!! So disapointed with Nissian😕😡 I have been a regular customer for so many years since 1989 and I never have had a problem such as this. Gregory . We called Nissan corporation and they told us the dealer should solve it . We are going to BBB and also we are looking for the tv help news to help us until we receive out money back . More
WORST DEALERSHIP! SHADY DEALERS ! NON - TRANASPARENT ! [ Not eligible even for 1 star ] I purchased Pre-Owned Nissan Rogue of 2020 year from this dealership and not SHADY DEALERS ! NON - TRANASPARENT ! [ Not eligible even for 1 star ] I purchased Pre-Owned Nissan Rogue of 2020 year from this dealership and not even one thing is transparent. It was certified pre owned car saying all the inspection done according to NY standards but when I went to my first service(driven only 4000 miles) at other Nissan dealership, they said all the tires need to be replaced as the treads are completely gone and at level 2 and 3. When I purchased the car, the sales person - Nick Gonzalez promised me that atleast 50000 miles life left for the tires as they are almost new and as per inspection report - the tread level is at 7. How come the tread level changed from 7 to 2 within just 4000 miles? Either the tires have been changed after the inspection is done and replaced with some cheap/junk tires and then sold the car to me. When i checked with Nick's Manager - Jose Daboin, he keep on saying that "when you took the car, the car is certified and inspected according to the NY standards and we cant do anything about it". He is so reckless and also not even listening to the concern. Apart from this - they have also included some shady charges like how the other customers were cheated - including certification charges $2499 which they haven't specified anywhere in the website, I took the maintenance plan - for that they charged another shady charge like AMO - $750. They keep advertise some $500 off if we purchase the vehicle which they will never give. They keep lower prices in the website to lure the customers to walk into the store and then trick/cheat them with all these hidden charges. When i went to other Nissan dealership at my location for the first service, they said you got cheap tires and also suggested me to file a complaint against these dealership because they are not convinced regarding the tread level change that drastically within 4 months. Request: NEVER PURCHASE PRE-OWNED CARS FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AND GET CHEATED LIKE ME. More

No updated all day, I reach out at 4pm and was told by Daniel if I could leave it they are waiting for answer from Nissan and will update me by 10 am 9/9. I said sure but I need car or loaner by 9/9 12 pm I have appointments. Well 10 came and send , I reached out 11 and Daniel off today, how surprising. Was told by Robert the manager my car is on test drive w tech, I said I need it by 12 regardless, he says I’ll get back to you. Soooooo, I check Nissan app and my car is parked, locked at dealership when I was told it was on a test drive. Ok, I’m getting ready to call Uber and get car , check app again, hour later and now car is in motion. Ok, maybe test drive?? I hold off on Uber. Check app again, vehicle is now parked and locked in not the best part of town. Hmmmm, 45 minutes go by, still parked and locked. Call Nissan , speak to Robert , ask why my vehicle is parked for 45 minutes in the area that it is. Slow to respond , I tell him I’m coming to get car whether it’s fixed or not. His response , come and get it. My response, it’s at dealership although app says it’s not? His response , it’s here. I check app, still at location it’s been telling me. His response, app is wrong. Ok I’m coming, within 2 minutes after conversation now my car is unlocked and in motion towards dealer again. But the app is wrong, xxxxxxxxx!!!unfortunately I got to dealer after car was already there. Go in , he doesn’t even come out of office. Carlos gets car for me, no paperwork stating anything was done for day and half they had it. 3rd day not at work because car tied up. Get home, park car, check app as soon as I close and lock. Tells me it’s at my house. Robert you’re a liar , I will never go back to this dealer and am posting this experience everywhere I can. If I could give zero stars I would!!!! More
I REALLY wish i read these reviews before bringing my car into this Nissan dealership. They are super shady and untrustworthy. They will look for ways to not honor your car warranty and then overcharge you into this Nissan dealership. They are super shady and untrustworthy. They will look for ways to not honor your car warranty and then overcharge you. Plus they add a 3% fee for using a credit card, which is ridiculous when you consider how much car repairs cost. More
Would have given 0 star if I could have. Drove over one hour for appointment I set the day before. After four calls, and many emails to confirm my appointment, when I arrived there the manager Ary, who I was to meet was off. The other manager had no clue of what car I was talking about. And I later found out they sold the car, I was suppose to be purchasing . Don't waste your time, this is a terrible dealership. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing at this place. Please adhere to my warning flee, and go elsewhere! More
Shady Dealer Ship Extended warranty is optional There are about three different price points do not let them Force you into buying . A few days ago I received an email from Ary Oliver General manger & Own about three different price points do not let them Force you into buying . A few days ago I received an email from Ary Oliver General manger & Owner Jim Rourke Central Ave that they are Looking to buy my rogue sport above market . I then received a call from sales rep Corey who was extremely pleasant we schedule a date to get the value of my trade in . At first I did not want to get another Nissan because of bad experience in the pass ,I wanted a Honda CR-V , but after being shown a few suv by corey I was sold on a newer rogue sport. This was an unexpected purchase so I wanted to stay in my budget. I then came back in a few days later and started the process for a used 2020 Nissan Rogue sport with only 24k miles for $20895 . This is we’re things took a disappointing turn I started all the paper work and brought in my title to my first Nissan I purchased at the same location back in 2018 with a sales rep Juan . In looking over the paper work I seen a charge for $2,495 I asked my sales rep hey what’s this charge he said for cert warranty . I said I didn’t want it because the car only had about 25,000 and Extended warranty is Optional. He then got the sales manger Nelson who said every pre-owned car you must get the warranty I told him I would like to decline it because it was not a certified pre-owned, So I asked if I don’t get the warranty then what he said we can’t sell you the car .This is the price and there isn’t much I can do . He then offered to find me a cheaper car in my budget but the problem was not the price of the car the problem was that I was being forced to buy An extended warranty , which is optional I’ve purchased many pre-owned vehicles in the past I’ve never been told I can’t buy a car if I DO NOT GET THE Warranty. It is shameful that Nissan central Ave would treat me a returning customer is such a A manner.Sales Rep corey was so nice he told me he understood if I didn’t want the car anymore because I did stress too him I wanted to stay in my budget. He was Extremely sympathetic and said he was sorry but if anything new came in he would give me a call. I ended up getting up and leaving I felt ashamed and embarrassed to have received this treatment from Nelson sales manger i was being scammed into a extendec warranty which in all reality is optional and there are many options that I could’ve picked from if they were offered to me but I wasn’t given that Choice. I am a New York City transit employee and I pride myself on honesty . I will not recommend this location to any of my friends, family and co-worker I would not want them to go through the same experience that I did . Warranty is optional which it clearly states in the poster that was at the station I sat at and there are many selections that I could have picked from which were not offer to me . Left me no choice but to get up and leave before I was scammed. Truly disgraceful wasted my time and gas coming from Long Island to only be returned without the car I wanted and came to pick up . Follow up car from manger Ary Oliver , whom tried to tell me the car was a certified vehicle ,I was told it was not at the dealer ship ,which is why it had to be sold with extended warranty. But did offer to give me an extra discount but I still would be paying $1995 for the warranty . I did decline the offer car still is under powertrain warranty . After looking over other reviews I see this Dealership in particular Has a tendency of trying to force people into buying extended warranties if not they will not sell you the car. As I said before I am a re-turning customer and I’m disgusted, disappointed and embarrassed at the behavior of all participantsExtend it More
What seemed to be the start of a pleasant car buying experience, slowly revealed itself as the wolf in sheep’s clothing. During the explanation of fees phase associated with and above the asking price o experience, slowly revealed itself as the wolf in sheep’s clothing. During the explanation of fees phase associated with and above the asking price of the vehicle (2018 Nissan Murano SV w/Premium Package) I was purchasing, all were par for course with the exception of one. I was told there was an additional cost of $1995 for the Nissan warranty since it is a certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicle. When I offered to decline this warranty, that I assumed was an extended warranty option offer, I was told "It's not coming from us; It's required by Nissan". Somewhat disappointed, though still loving the car itself, I decided to continue with the purchasing process by returning the following day with a $500 good faith deposit to place the vehicle on hold. Since I had my own financing, I would only need to forward the purchase order to my credit union, who would then remit payment for the full purchase price. After leaving the dealership that, but before my appointment scheduled for 4pm the following day, I decided to do some brief online comparative shopping to reduce or eliminate any potential feelings of buyer's remorse, and what I later discovered changed everything. I found another dealer with a Murano that was virtually the same as my pending purchase vehicle, but about $1500 less. Upon scrolling further down to get more details and specs on that vehicle, I noticed it showed (paraphrasing here), "All Certified Pre-Owned Nissan vehicles include a 7yr/100,000 mile warranty". This means, for the 2018 Murano I was purchasing, I should receive the remainder of the original manufacturer's warranty at no extra cost. To ensure this was not a misread on my part, I contacted the dealer of the lesser priced vehicle. It was confirmed by a salesperson that what I read was 100% correct, and added I could purchase an additional warranty option if I chose to do so, but there was no obligation. There was no mention of a Nissan-required warranty fee of $1995 in order to purchase and leave with the vehicle. This failed attempt to take money from me, and possibly successful attempts with other car buyers in doing the same, on the part of Central Ave. Nissan of Yonkers, NY, by definition is theft. Their actions cannot be dismissed as an oversight or less than perfect accounting practices and/or policies. A plan was conceived with expected results, a meeting(s) were held to ensure all were on the same page, then the implementation of this plan in real time went into action. Amid a recently exposed similar action involving a different major car manufacturer, I hope The Nissan Corporation will not allow Central Ave. Nissan to taint its stellar and near flawless reputation in the auto manufacturing and sales industry.
