Over the years I've dealt with many car dealerships and employees. I honestly have to say that Central Auto of Plainfield has been the best one to deal with. All of the employees that I dealt with directly employees. I honestly have to say that Central Auto of Plainfield has been the best one to deal with. All of the employees that I dealt with directly were very good but one that, in my opinion, comes out as outstanding is Brian Allard! The friendliest, good natured guy I've ever dealt with. He's on top of his game and follows through on his promises. He'll be my go to guy for sure! More

brian and ed are amazing. i have a sonata that’s older than me and am always cautious about trusting my car with others. they loved my car and took great care of me in a timel i have a sonata that’s older than me and am always cautious about trusting my car with others. they loved my car and took great care of me in a timely manner :) i’ve been to many hyundais and have never had this good of an experience. well worth the hour drive for just a simple oil change. i’d recommend the hyundai service dept to anyone and everyone. they were thorough and helpful and put a smile on my face. it’s nice knowing the car youre driving is in good hands. thank you very much for your service ed and brian :) i appreciate it more than you know :)) More
We dropped our car off for service and thought we could grab it at 5pm. As a new mom my brain obviously wasn’t working right and we learned service closes at 1 on Saturdays. Chris went way above and beyond grab it at 5pm. As a new mom my brain obviously wasn’t working right and we learned service closes at 1 on Saturdays. Chris went way above and beyond and not only helped us retrieve our vehicle after hours, but also he contacted the GM who helped us too. They were incredibly gracious and kind. Thank you both!!! More
The service department at Central Auto Group is dishonest. Seeing the big “Ford” sign out front, I brought my car there because the brake lights were intermittently out. I told them that we thought dishonest. Seeing the big “Ford” sign out front, I brought my car there because the brake lights were intermittently out. I told them that we thought it needed a new brake light switch because when my husband manipulated the brake light switch, the lights would come on, but then they would go out again. They decided the problem was the inhibitor switch instead and said they replaced that. But, the brake lights were out again before I made it out of the parking lot. So they took it back and said they replaced the brake light switch but that the lights were still out, and I would have to bring it to a Ford dealer. (Their Ford sign is still there.). The actual Ford dealer I went to next replaced the brake light switch with an aftermarket switch because the switch is no longer available from Ford. They gave me the part they replaced pointing out where the contacts were worn. It was not a new switch. So Central lied at least about replacing the brake light switch. To their credit, they did not charge for the $23-switch. But they caused me to have to pay much more to a different dealer for the extra work they had to do since I told them that the switch had already been replaced. And they do not return any phone calls to speak about this. Denise Avery 10/20/23 More

He was not at all pushy, took time to explain things, was friendly and helpful. He and the others on the team got us through a difficult car day and we are delighted with our decision to buy from this dealership, which was new to us. Everyone at Plainfield Hyundai dropped the ball. Customer service in Sales, Body, and Service was awful. Not a single person could be bothered to keep us informed as to what was happening with parts Customer service in Sales, Body, and Service was awful. Not a single person could be bothered to keep us informed as to what was happening with parts ordered. They were well aware of the stress that this was causing, and chose to ignore that. We had to call to find out they had come in. It only took 28 days of lies before the car was fixed, as promised, at the time of purchase. We are senior citizens, raised on common courtesy and respect, we got neither, We got used and abused. We will never step foot in another Hyundai place again because of this horrible experience. We were treated so poorly we ended up regretting the purchase.. They blamed everything on being recently purchased HAHAHA. Inept service has NOTHING to do with changing owners . Until near the end Libby was kind of in the same boat as us . She handed off the ball and it was dropped several times by service people . She then dropped the ball near the end . I still had to call to find out my parts were finally in and told them we were very upset that WE had to keep calling them to find out what was happening . After being told it would only be a few days to being 2 more weeks More
Very poor customer service! I brought a car in for repair of driver side door, had to replace entire door of 2+ year old Ford Escape. Factory weld let go. Made an appointment and dropped car off, the night before, called to check on status the next day and was told it wouldn't be ready that day, so made arrangements for loaner for overnight. Next day informed it will be several days before repair complete. None of this was explained at time of appointment. turned into a 7 day repair. Refused to do a recall notice and never did the oil changed I requested several times! When returning to pick up car was inform there was damage on loaner car, a smudge on front bumper. I now have to pay for this repair! Total horrible service, servicemen at counter rude when answering questions. Sarcastic remarks when addressing my concerns. Avoid this dealer! Work for door was under warranty, I guess you need to get your money from robbing the customer! The service department knew the length of repair and never gave us this information. body work on door was outsourced to another body shop, this was never explained to us. Loaner car was supposed to have 1/2 tank of gas when I left, I forgot to check and saw when I got home that it was low. Loaner vehicle was supposed be inspected before leaving, smudge probably also over looked beside low gas level but I can't prove this. It will be my mission to inform anyone I know to avoid this dealership, word of mouth is a powerful weapon, you guys failed miserably! More
A simple service mistake led to me calling and asking them to correct their mistake, as my car was driving noticeably worse than when I brought it in. I was refused, and was told there was a minimum diag them to correct their mistake, as my car was driving noticeably worse than when I brought it in. I was refused, and was told there was a minimum diagnostic fee. So I went to a different dealer, who told me it took about 5 min to find the problem, and about 5 min to fix it. To top it off, I wasn't charged anything. This was several months ago, and to date, these guys have lost about $4,600 in service on all my vehicles, including 2 Volkswagens and a new (to me) pickup truck. This was AFTER they tried to charge me HUGE for what another service department said was "simply unnecessary" rotor turning to get rid of surface rust on a vehicle that had been sitting for a bit. Double-check and verify EVERYTHING with these people. R.M. More
