Ken Wood sold us on the 2013 Hyundai Sonata. It was our intention to visit Mid-island Hyundai and walk away with test driving a Sonata, instead we purchased and drove away in our 2013 Hyundai Sonata. Ken Wood was our sales person. He was pleasant, efficient and willing to do whatever he could to accomodate our needs. He took us for 3 test drives of the Elantra and then the Sonata twice. Even though the car had not yet had its pre sales inspection ( it literally just came on the lot) they got it done (this was a Sunday afternoon) so we could take delivery that day. After the sales was complete and the car was delivered around closing time, Ken sat in the car with my daughter and spent the time explaining all the gadgets in the car and did not seem to be rushing at all so he could get out of there and go home. If I were going to buy another Hyundai I would go back to Mid Island Hyundai and request Ken Wood. He was by far the most pleasant sales person from all the various dealerships I went to while shopping for a car. More

We visited the dealer 20 minutes before closing just to look. They were so helpful and gave us just what we needed that we bought the car on the spot. Dropped off my car for an oil change at 8:00 am and I was told I would be contacted with the time it would be ready. They never called! Called back at 11:30 am and i was told that someone will call me back i told I would be contacted with the time it would be ready. They never called! Called back at 11:30 am and i was told that someone will call me back in 10 minutes. They never called! Called again at 1:30 pm and they hang up on me!droveto the dealer and as of 2:30 pm the car was not touched!!! When I "dared" to ask why it takes long, I was told that it was my fault since I did not specify what time I needed it by!!!! Service person Fank was very rude and nasty!!! I would not recommend this dealer/service to anyone, not even to my own enemies!!! Stay away!!!! More
