Fast, professional and great service. This location is far away from my house but, they are great on customer service and for that reason I don't mind the drive. far away from my house but, they are great on customer service and for that reason I don't mind the drive. More
First time brining in for oil leak (I could see the spots on my driveway) after having car for 8 hours said there was no leak but bring back if continued to see oil. Second visit, another 6 hours and quoted on my driveway) after having car for 8 hours said there was no leak but bring back if continued to see oil. Second visit, another 6 hours and quoted over 2k of repairs needed, they “found” the leak. And during this visit I mentioned temperature light kept coming on, the noted but no other mention of the light. Next day, temp light still on, I called back but they can’t take another look for over a week and the next day, check engine light came on. I’m starting to think they are doing stuff to the car to keep me coming back! Originally I thought VW dealer would be more trustworthy than the used car dealer we bought the car from but doesn’t feel that way. Feels like I’m just wasting time and money here. More

My service advisor, Cris Flores, was professional, polite, knowledgeable, and in my opinion, is an asset to Findlay Volkswagen. However, unfortunately, I didn't receive a car wash. polite, knowledgeable, and in my opinion, is an asset to Findlay Volkswagen. However, unfortunately, I didn't receive a car wash. More
Bought a brand new VW Atlas here in October 2021. Over the last 12 months I've had to bring my new car in twice for the same issue with my GPS and Bluetooth failing to work. Its a known issue that can on the last 12 months I've had to bring my new car in twice for the same issue with my GPS and Bluetooth failing to work. Its a known issue that can only be resolved by replacing the module. Today I'm told by service they can't help me and won't replace a $700 part and my only recourse is to call VW itself. All they can do is the same temporary fix as last time. And they cant telll me how many times I would have to do this again until it can be replaced because its under warranty and they cant replace parts under warranty unless VW itself says they can. Findlay won't authorize the fix because it would be money out of their pocket. Shame on them! Shame on VW! I used to tell people where I bought my car and how pleased I was with the process. Now I'd tell them to go anywhere else seeing how they treat customers when it really matters. More

originally I took my car in for a new clutch with was going to take 2-3 days. I didn’t get my car back until 71 days later. In those 71 days, they encountered “grinds and noises” after they started up af going to take 2-3 days. I didn’t get my car back until 71 days later. In those 71 days, they encountered “grinds and noises” after they started up after reassembly. Then diagnosed the timing chain as the culprit and replaced that. The grinds and noises remained and they replaced the starter and battery for some reason. After that they pulled the head apart and found a rocker arm had broke and caused damaged to the head and camshaft. These weren’t immediate updates, each week I kept getting the “your car will be ready at the end of the week” after I had to reach out to see what was going on. While they were waiting on parts for the new head they locked the keys in the car in their lot. So they had to break into the car to unlock it but damaged my tints in the process. They replaced the front tints free of charge but also left deep scratches in my door jams from using the wrong tools. When I finally got the car back I had to drive it easy to break in the new clutch and new head. I kept the RPMS low and the throttle under 50% for ~500 miles. Once I went over 50% throttle after that the car would go into limp mode and the dash lit up with lights. (check engine, EPC, etc) I have my own scanner and had codes: P130A (cylinder disabling), P0304 (Cylinder 4 misfire detected), P0302 (Cylinder 2 misfire detected), and P0300 (random/multiple misfires detected). I knew I had the factory coil packs and they were past their lifetime so I bought it back to get them replaced. They legit told me over their customer diagnostic videos that “P0300 means you’re using the wrong gas and should use like 92 or something.” The car has only gotten 91/93 fuel over the last 6 years. They called back and said they test drove the car and everything was fine. They didn’t charge me since they didn’t do anything. As soon as I pulled out of the lot and applied over 50% throttle the car went into limp mode and threw the same codes. Wanting a second opinion, I went to the store and bought a Magic 8-Ball. I asked “Am I using the wrong fuel for my car?” The 8-Ball replied “No.” I figured I was getting somewhere so I asked “Are my coil packs the culprit?” The 8-Ball replied “Without a doubt.” I ordered new coil packs and my issues went away and didn’t repeat. A week later I changed my brake pads since I didn’t want my car near that shop anymore. Once I jacked my car up I noticed they didn’t fully install my after market skid plate. It’s a solid ¼ inch plate that replaces the factory one for more protection. It’s held in by 8 small screws down the sides that go into the fender liners and then 3 large bolts that secure it to my subframe. The 3 large bolts were missing and the skid plate has been dangling this whole time. I reached out again asking if they had the missing hardware for my car and they replied “I don’t recall the car leaving like that.” They’re 2 inch bolts that are secured into the subframe, it’s either A) they didn’t tighten them down and they backed off on the road or B) they weren’t installed in the first place. I was upset about the hazard this made my car; had it come off at high way speed and flown up into someone else car or hit someone on a motorcycle then it would have caused serious injury. They told me they would look around the shop for the hardware and would get back to me. That was 21 days ago. I ordered replacement hardware online and fixed the issued myself. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to take their vehicle here. You’re better off leaving with a high school auto shop or maybe with 4 hobos in an alley. More
