We absolutely do not recommend centennial Toyota in Las Vegas. We spent months looking for the SUV that was going to be a perfect fit for our family, we decided that the Grand Highlander Platinum was the o Vegas. We spent months looking for the SUV that was going to be a perfect fit for our family, we decided that the Grand Highlander Platinum was the one. After our 3rd time at Centennial Toyota we found a sales representative that would actually look on the computer for incoming SUV’s for us to find something available. Once we found something close enough You are asked to put done a 2k non refundable deposit on the vehicle to reserve it. We chose not to place a deposit as we felt like we needed to see the vehicle in person before putting anything down on it. A few weeks later we were notified that this vehicle had arrived and was not reserved and available. We rushed down to the dealership to see it. Once we were in negotiations is when everything changed. We were surprised when they Had to add a 3k mark up fee for the dealership, A 2k Desert package that was window tint and a paint protector product plus a delivery charge all tacked onto the MSRP sticker price. We asked to not have the the desert package put on as it’s a new car with nothing done to it yet. Nope! It’s standard on every vehicle they sell and non negotiable. We finally moved passed it and accepted these terms as we were trading in a vehicle at the same time and they were giving us close to what we wanted for the trade in. No one told us about any of these add ons or that the vehicle was way more expensive than what is showed on the sticker. After these negotiations with our sales representative we were sent into the lions den aka George P. the financing manager who completely lied to us about many things but especially the KARR security. He claimed you could turn off your car if it was stolen. It literally doesn’t even work unless your Bluetooth is connected so this product doesn’t work unless you are within close proximity to the vehicle. It was originally offered at 2k for this Karr alarm package. We declined it, then offered again at 1k , we declined it, then we were asked if we belonged to Costco or Sam’s club that if so we can get it for $495. That seemed somewhat reasonable so we agreed and moved on. Once we realized that this alarm system is useless and doesn’t do anything that we were told it does we told them that we were unhappy and would like to be refunded for that unnecessary add on that we were mislead about. Our sales rep went back to the finance manager who then called me, leaving me an aggressive voicemail denying that he ever lied to us and we knew what we were getting. Eventually our sales rep said they would send a check as reimbursement and that we could cancel the alarm package. That didn’t happen. After a week of not receiving the check they told us they would only take it off the financing AFTER we submitted our survey, using the survey as leverage to get a positive review. Worried that we would get it the check and still give them a bad review. We had no intentions on doing the survey until after we received our check. We finally said we will not be returning the vehicle to remove the alarm only to be ambushed in the waiting area to give a positive review. We gave them every chance to make this right, but they were unwilling to do anything without a positive review before working with us. DO not fall for the Karr security package, The Desert package that you can have done yourself for so much less and their dealer markups package because they didn’t make any $ in the MSRP amount. Once we were told that we wouldn’t be refund until they had a positive review is when we said we were done with them, you will not pressure me into writing a false review to remove the scam of a security system off my contract. At this point I’m unsure how far up the corruption but as far as we are concerned they are scammers and if the car we wanted wasn’t so elusive we would have never done business with them. Hopefully this saves someone else from being screwed over by them. More
It is unfortunate I have to write this, after purchasing my 2020 Toyota Camry at Centennial Toyota. I guess they have to somehow pay for the new, state of the art new location and I was part of that "exper my 2020 Toyota Camry at Centennial Toyota. I guess they have to somehow pay for the new, state of the art new location and I was part of that "experience". In mid-Aug. 2024, I called for a routine maintenance appt. AND estimate. I am well aware the cabin filter is changed usually every 2 yrs. The quote I got was for between $570-$600. Fine. Made the appt. for 9/18/24 and after one hour+, I was able to pick up my car with the bill for a routine maintenance of a fairly new car with 15,260 miles on it, for $809.16!!! I was and am miffed. I emailed them THROUGH their own website a day later - no response. So here I am now, deciding it needs to be "aired" as the year before in May of 2023? (-and w/o cabin filter change) was $585.50. This kind of business dealing sours me on returning and I shall start looking around for a, shall we say, "less shady" auto mechanic that specializes in Toyotas. This has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I am disappointed in them. More
I’ve had an incredibly disappointing experience with this Toyota dealership regarding warranty work on my 2023 Toyota GR86, which only has 9,000 miles on it. The car was brought in for a massive fuel leak an Toyota dealership regarding warranty work on my 2023 Toyota GR86, which only has 9,000 miles on it. The car was brought in for a massive fuel leak and was told it was leaking fuel injectors, yet the dealership is trying to claim that the car has been worked on in the past and that the engine has been resealed. This is completely false—the only dealer that has worked on my car recently is this one. What makes this even more frustrating is that just prior to this issue, I paid $200 for a full inspection at this dealership, and I was told everything was perfectly fine with the car. The engine has never had any work done aside from routine oil changes, all of which were performed at Toyota dealerships. Now, they are trying to deflect their responsibility by making baseless claims about previous work on the vehicle and wanting to charge north of $2,000 for work that should be done under manufacturer warranty. To make matters worse, the customer relations manager closed my case with Toyota corporate, claiming he called me and left a detailed voicemail, but I never received any such call or message. The dishonesty and lack of communication from this dealership is absolutely appalling. I would strongly advise anyone considering this dealership to think twice, especially if you value transparency and customer service. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else where they actually care about their customers and their obligations. The way they handle warranty work and treat loyal Toyota customers is disgraceful. More
I purchased a 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid about 2 weeks ago and was extremely satisfied. However, we found a crack on the windshield and took it to Centennial Toyota. The car has only 550 miles on it. The ago and was extremely satisfied. However, we found a crack on the windshield and took it to Centennial Toyota. The car has only 550 miles on it. The service manager AND the customer service manager saw a pin hole on the windshield and said they would not replace it. You had to really look for it in order to find. This pin hole could have easily been there coming off the truck and missed during inspection when we purchased the car. It became noticeable only due to the crack in the windshield. Instead of doing the right thing and providing excellent customer service, they showed their true face and only cared about the cost of replacing the windshield. Imagine, brand new car, about 2 weeks old and a pin hole caused this crack and Centennial Toyota tells you it's my problem and have a nice day. Now I know the bumper to bumper warranty is xx and all they care about is sales. Shame on them and hopefully karma prevails. More
Ridiculous mark ups, not necessary cars have about 8-9% gross profit margin already at sticker price already. No need to take advantage of Las Vegas locals and add Mark ups on basic non high demand cars. gross profit margin already at sticker price already. When I went for the registration paperwork, thankfully I noticed they had a lien on the form. Made for such a stupid and big mistake, it was corrected. I asked if my title paperwork was correct. They told me it was. Three months later, no title. Went there, assistance was ZERO. They had a "sucks to be you" attitude. Finally talked to title person and they did mess it up again. No apologies, no follow up. I wrote a letter to the sales manager two weeks ago. Not a word. Thyey could care less once they have your cash. More
I purchased a 2023 Tundra from this business with a cashier's check from my national bank.
