This is by far the worst service department! Putting an appointment is completely useless!! Spending 3 hours just for an oil change is ridiculous! And no communication from anyone. I went in for an oil change & MADE AN APPOINTMENT. When I arrived, the service rep told me that there was a recall on the 3rd brake light of my Tacoma. My appointment was for 10:00 am, I got there early hoping that would make a difference. I didn’t leave until 2:30 pm!!! While waiting patiently & watching other customers come & go before me, I was getting restless. The rep comes back to inform me that they hadn’t even gotten to the recall yet. (The brake light). I told him I wanted to leave. At the beginning of the service he did ask if I wanted an Uber but I figured I’d wait believing it wouldn’t have taken a whole day of waiting just for an oil change & tire rotation!!!! He said he’d check on me in an hour or so to see if I had changed my mind & take an Uber home but he didn’t check on me thru out the whole day. I know they were busy but as a paying customer they should keep their word!!! I wound up paying over 100.00 just for the service I did get!!! 5 hrs of waiting with no complaint, they could have offered me a discount since they failed to get to the recall that I needed!!! That’s 5 hrs of my life that I won’t get back!!!! As nice as he tried to be I should have just gone somewhere else & not wasted my whole day of waiting!!! More
I went in for my maintenance service contract. I dealt with Michael Quinn. Michael was very nice and professional. I asked him about something I wanted done. Update on my review. I decided to give them a second try after having a small hiccup the first time. Let me just start by saying, this place has the WORST customer service in all of San Antonio. I went back in to get the recommend service for brake replacement. I told them I also wanted the tires rotated and the complimentary oil change I received from David Dickinson and multi-point inspection done. I dropped my car off on Saturday about 11am for my appointment. They then call me a few hours before closing and state that my vehicle will not be ready till Monday. I was very disappointed because I would be without a vehicle until then. Not sure why they over schedule on the weekend when they can't even complete a job. AND they didn't even bother to offer me a loaner vehicle until then. Come Monday, I go in to pick up my vehicle and go over the invoice. I had turned in several coupons I received in the mail and wanted to make sure they were reflected. I notice a $24.95 charge for a tire rotation. I initially went in to get my brakes replaced so to me it didn't make any sense for them to charge me for that if they were already replacing the brakes. They just had to move the tires after replacing the brakes. I told the receptionist that the tire rotation should have been complimentary with the oil change and multi-point inspection but she did not agree. Some other employee approached me and said that if I stated that I wanted the tire rotation done before the brakes then I would be charged...WHAT??? How does that make any sense? I went in for the recommended maintenance which was the brakes. You already remove the tires when you replace the brakes and the rotors so why would I be charged for a tire rotation as well? I'm already paying over $700 for the complete invoice and you want to slap on an additional $25 for a tire rotation. This service center either lacks common sense or they like to squeeze every penny out of you. I will never go here again. This is definitely the most unprofessional, unorganized, and incompetent Toyota dealership I have ever done business with. Thanks for supporting retired Military! More
