Dear Adolph, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. First and foremost, we want to sincerely apologize for the frustration and disappointment you've felt throughout this process. As a senior veteran, you deserve respect, transparency, and a smooth experience, and we're truly sorry that this has not been your impression. We understand how upsetting it must be to feel that your down payment was not applied as you intended. However, we’d like to clarify that your down payment was applied towards the total amount owed on your deal, which is standard procedure for any purchase involving financing. The cancellation of additional products also followed standard procedures. Once you requested the cancellation, we acted promptly to process those requests. Unfortunately, the timing and disbursement of refunds is managed by the individual product providers, and we do not have control over how quickly or in what manor those funds are returned. We’re also sorry to hear that your recent interactions have felt dismissive. That is not the level of service we strive to provide, and we will be looking into this further to ensure our team is treating every customer with the care and attention they deserve. Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us improve and better serve our customers.

Aside from the fact that the none of the money was applied to the car, it was clear that I did not want the ad ons, of which one is a duplication of my insurance. However, I am now having a problem getting the refunds. One check was made out to the finance company, and now no one seems to know where it is. On the other refund, I was just sent a copy of the cancellation but there is no mention of reimbursement. I am being referred back and forth from the "Finance" company to the "Dealership" as to who has the responsibility to get money to me. Either, they are too busy or ignorant to what is going on to resolve this. I understand that if checks are lost a stop payment can be done and they reissued them/it to me. This has been become far too complicated than it need to be. Is there one person or department that I can deal with to settle this matter. I would appreciate understanding that I just want money that should have never been misused in the first place.

I appreciate your concerns, however, I don't feel the respect that is being promised. I made a large down payment,l you have since been paid in full and I can't seem to get my own money. As of Monday, I will pursue legal procedures. To have a business that is profiting from scamming people is the level of service that I am receiving. I am being shuttle back and forth between a few people that are giving me the same nonsense answers. A check was written and it is lost. A cancellation for another package was done and no further action. No one can point me in the right direction? I have yet to see the concern.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced due to the pricing error on our website. This mistake was unintentional, and we regret any frustration it may have caused. While we would have liked to honor the listed price, the cost difference was too significant for us to absorb. We are taking this matter seriously and are reviewing our processes to prevent such issues in the future. We value your feedback and would like the opportunity to make it right. If you are willing, please contact us at (512) 212-7291 so we can work towards a resolution. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for your note. However, this was not just a mistake on your website. The Sales Manager stated to me that the website was wrong by $2,000, even though the Internet Manager had previously confirmed to me that the website was the correct price. However, you also included another approximately $3,000 in added costs that were not agreed to and were not described to me as "options" until the GM told me that is what they were. I really feel like I was being duped.

We are truly sorry to hear that someone feels their parents might have been taken advantage of at our dealership. It is never our intention to make any customer feel this way, and we certainly would not intentionally take advantage of any elderly customer here at Cavender Nissan of San Marcos. Our highest level of management dealt directly with this situation and took every possible step to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we were unable to reach an amicable resolution. We deeply regret any distress this situation may have caused and remain committed to treating all our customers with the utmost respect and fairness. Sincerely, Cavender Nissan of San Marcos Managment

I'm sorry ...but I need to set the record straight...Your highest level of management which was the General manager did not assist in resolving the matter . Not once did he apologize or express any type of empathy toward the situation ..once I explained to him and showed the discrepancies in the documentation he took no responsibility at ALL...so when you say he tried that is not TRUE..he threatened well he actually CALLED the police on me because I was stating TRUE facts...the General manager definitely need some additional training because he is classless. I will always speak and tell the truth. May God bless and keep you.
