We had a very good experience with Cristi and the finance manager. Cristi was very friendly, informative, and not pushy at all. He answered all my questions and arranged a test drive without delay. TLDR: Do not go to Cavender Nissan in Rockwall. They are either horribly inept or actively trying to scam people. Let's say you take your truck in to have a turbo replaced (3rd one in less than They are either horribly inept or actively trying to scam people. Let's say you take your truck in to have a turbo replaced (3rd one in less than 5 years). They know someone else found the issue and you ask if that mechanic needs to re assemble everything and nissan tells you no, tow it in. You are quoted $4900 plus tax prior to giving them your vehicle, once they get it you get told whoops it's actually $7300. ** Strike one ** After having the truck for 2 weeks they tell you the turbo has been replaced but the truck won't start and you now need a new long block. So on top of the $7,000 they are hitting you with they say it'll be $25,000 MORE to get the truck working. **Strike two ** You go back and forth with them and they tell you they will write off the $7,000 and give you $12,000 to buy the truck. You all are on the same page so you go home to empty the rental. When you get back to the dealership to wrap up.... whoopsie there was a miscommunication with sales. They aren't giving you anything for your truck and you still owe them $7,000. ** Strike three ** You have the truck towed to a different shop by your house then go get your kids from school. Heading back home guess what passes you on your road... YOUR TRUCK THAT NEVER NEEDED A NEW LONG BLOCK. It just needed the air in the fuel system flushed and coolant since there WASN'T ANY IN THE ENGINE. (But the dealership sure did charge you for it). When said dealership was confronted with this interesting information and video of said truck running in our driveway they only said, "The truck was brought to us and he said replace the turbo, so we replaced the turbo. We didn't do any diagnostics." They also claimed it being towed over without being fully reassembled wasn't known when it was. HOW CAN YOU SAY A TRUCK NEEDS A NEW ENGINE WITHOUT THAT?! If I took my car in and said replace the back tires but didn't also say to put them back on the car and tighten the bolts... they wouldn't just put tires on rims and call it a day. All the manager could say was, "Well I can't do anything for you. What do you want, I can't do anything." Cavender Nissan of Rockwall is either full of people who are actively trying to scam people or incredibly ignorant people who should not be working on cars. More

Purchased a 2024 Frontier on December 26, 2024. Still waiting on my plates to come as my temporary plate expires February 24, 2025.
