We bought a cat from Gus 2 and a half weeks ago. Gus was amazing. He gave us what we needed for trade in and we got the car we saw online. We live 6 hrs away and did everything by text and email. He even drove three hours to meet us half way to deliver the car. The car is amazing and I love it. With that being said, the finance department leaves something to be desired. We have and still are dealing with finance. We went through our own bank because we are established with them and knew it wouldn't be an issue and it wasn't. The issue is the lack of communication with Jose in finance. My bank is still waiting on a document he has failed to email over. I have emailed Jose n finance and called Jacob, the manager, and have not heard back from either. Gus is AMAZING but finance, definitely not. More

The video you sent me showing inspection and cause of proble was outstanding . I show it to collegues !! I had truck in at local dealer , 1st they charged me for something related to what was fixed in Cavender and under warranty but I was charged $500. I dont know why but I couldn't take truck from dealer with out paying . They made up reasons of animal biting harnes , then something else , then they could find proble of pre collission light on for over 10 days. I told them I was going to take to Cavender , they said "OK" Well thank god I did . Very couteous , professional , down to the point of problem in a matter of time ( hours) Part wass replaced and wal-la problem resolved. I am very happy with service from Cavender and honestly would not take my truck anywhere else . SHOUT out to service dept. , Ms Elizabeth Mejis and all crew. Everyone was VERY helpful kind ad pick up was easy . Their online payment estimator tool was completely inaccurate, so I followed up directly. The next day, Sales Manager Jacob F. contacted me, expressing strong interest in earning my business. We exchanged numbers, and after a few back-and-forths, I was satisfied with the final offer. We scheduled my visit for Saturday at 2 PM. I live in Georgetown—116 miles away—but I was serious about purchasing the truck. The next morning, I cleaned out my current truck, took both keys, and prepared for a trade-in. En route, I notified Jacob I’d be 15–20 minutes late. He replied, “No worries.” I asked if I should find him directly, and he confirmed I should. I arrived just 14 minutes late. Jacob briefly greeted me but immediately passed me off to a salesperson and disappeared. Minutes later, I was informed the truck I had been discussing was being sold to someone else at that very moment. Instead, they tried to sell me different vehicles in colors I never asked for. After I left—empty-handed and frustrated—Jacob resumed texting, offering a 2024 model, then a dark gray vehicle. It was clear I had been treated as a backup plan. They never once informed me that the vehicle was at risk of being sold despite knowing I was driving two hours to purchase it. I trusted their word and wasted four hours of my day, including the drive back home—all while managing a knee injury. The lack of honesty, professionalism, and respect was glaring. Jacob’s decision to step back and let a salesperson take the fall was not only disingenuous, but showed a clear unwillingness to take responsibility. This dealership was neither fair nor kind. They proved they value a quick sale over basic decency. I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting Cavender Grande Ford with your time or business. More
