Located originally at 317 Lexington Ave. , the dealership moved to its present location in 1997. It is only fitting, since the present location on Broadway, was the original site of the beginning of the growth of the Cavender brand in South Texas.
Started by James M. Cavender, and his twin sons, Jimmy and Billy, the dealerships are now moving into the 3rd generation of Cavenders.

The service man, Carlos, does a very good job. I was NOT happy with two items. 1. I had a discount card that based on amount spent should give me $125.00 off. They attempted to give me only $75. I was NOT happy with two items. 1. I had a discount card that based on amount spent should give me $125.00 off. They attempted to give me only $75.00 off and because, they said it doesn’t cover misc. materials. B.S..AFTER I COMPLAINED, they gave me the correct discount. 2. Prior to paying the bill, I was not advised there was a3% charge for using a credit card. I have bought several cars from Cavender and was extremely disappointed in their attempts to nickel and dime me. My next purchase will must likely NOT be at Cavender. More
