I bought a Ford Ranger that I ordered which was delivered earlier than I expected. Very happy with the vehicle and most portions of the process. I ordered my 2022 Maverick in August, at that time my dealer told me I would receive an email to track my vehicle. I never received one, the only way I could track it was to call the dealer myself, I was dealer told me I would receive an email to track my vehicle. I never received one, the only way I could track it was to call the dealer myself, I was never contacted about it’s progress by the dealer. I was told that my vehicle would be in the week leading up to Thanksgiving. I sold my Ranger prior to that to purchase my new vehicle. When I called in again I was told that it would not be arriving until middle of December. I then had to borrow vehicles and beg for rides. My vehicle did arrive later than the expected date. The vehicle was unfinished, dealer installed options were not installed. When I asked for compensation for my troubles waiting for the vehicle I was told my vehicle did not meet any criteria. Upon taking my test drive I was told that my vehicle was under a recall and it went into the shop. The dealership was insistent on me paying for the vehicle. I wish the dealership offered me something for the delays, the fact I was in the dark about the changes in its arrival.
