This week was the second time I’ve had service for my brand new car I bought from them and if I could Leave no stars I would. Very poor communication, dropped car off and didn’t hear back for 3 days, bc brand new car I bought from them and if I could Leave no stars I would. Was not provided a courtesy car or any type of information when I picked the car up. I may have bought my car there, but will no longer be using them for any services in the future. More
I wish there was a zero-star rating. I asked for a quote to repair the rear power hatch for my 2013 GMC Terrain SLT. The door would open, bounce up and down a few times, and then close. When searching YouTube, I found that this repair was very very simple to install and parts were $17.00 at AutoZone. I previously had my battery replaced at a cost of $800.00 because the cables were corroded and previous to that, I was told my Lower Front Bushings needed to be replaced, confirmed by Firestone Complete Auto Care, and paid $2,400.00 at Castle. Calling today to confirm the quote from Firestone, they charge $700.00 for the job, including alignment. I have never felt so ripped off in my life and hope this review is read by all. I have nothing good to say about Castle Chevrolet Buick GMC McHenry and I will not visit them again, nor purchase a GMC in the future if this is the type of business they use to represent their product. More

He worked with the manufacturer and got everything covered that was entitled to me. Again it helps when you maintain your car and trust the services they recommend through out your vehicles life. Without those records and needed services, it could have gone in another direction??? Yikes. But with my maintenance records all right there. A new engine, starter and turbo.. all covered by the manufacturer with no issues… only because my maintenance records where all on GaryLang’s records. So the few hundred dollars I had spent really paid itself back in thousands. Please believe them when they recommend those services. It pays for itself in the long run. Thanks again to GaryLang and Matt. I trust your every recommendation and the service you provide. Life long customer.. More
Kia Service is TERRIBLE. It took from 2018 - 2022 to diagnose my 'Shudder' problem. Gary Lang Techs said many times that there was nothing wrong with my Optima. Took it to an independent repair shop a month ago and the tech felt the shudder within 2 minutes. I contacted Kia Consumer Affairs; they suggest I take it to another Kia Dealer and they also diagnosed it in a few minutes. New Transmission needed. Why didn't Gary Lang Techs even acknowledge the problem? Wouldn't trust them ever again. More

Service department sucks. They had my car for 5 days over a GPS issue not working.i paid 32 grand for the car for him to tell me I have to subscribe to uvo to get GPS. Subscribe why? No car for the week cause there is a car shortage. I call the dealership whete I bought the car and no subscription needed. You go in settings unsubscribe uvo and the GPS will come back on. They want you to subscribe cause it's 250 a year. Wow one phone call not 5 days of eating my time. Place is a joke More

Terrible maintenance service. Took my car in 2 separate times for a seal leak problem. Had a couple inches of water on my passenger side floor. First time couldn’t fix Just vacuumed and sent me on my way. Second time I came in a week later they had my car for about a week took my seats out. Took apart my passenger door and ran my car through countless car washes. Even though I stated to the guy it’s not supposed to go through car washes because it has a roof rack. A week went by and they gave me my car back and told me they still couldn’t fix or find the problem. Still get water on my floor if I back in my driveway and it rains really heavy. Also when they took apart my door they didn’t put everything back inside correctly because now my door sounds hollow when you close it. Also found sill plugs in my glove box that was never installed either. Would not recommend. Mechanics are not knowledgeable nor does anyone communicate with each other. The first time I took my car in I asked the service guys to fill up my engine coolant because it was low. Gave me my car back and I checked the engine bay and no coolant was even added to the vehicle. I went right back in, showed the service representative and followed him and my car into the mechanic bay so I can physically watch them fill it up. I don’t even want to bring my car back in because of how terrible the service is here and the fact I can’t even trust them to do simple things like fill my coolant up is scary. More
