If I could give no stars that’s exactly what I would do. The level of unprofessionalism I have received from this establishment is atrocious. From the minute we walked in we should have walked out. The first car we looked at was dead but we understood lights can be left on.. once jumped the engine light wouldn’t go off.. when we told the salesman that we were uncomfortable purchasing a car with an engine light we were given so much kick back.. but we go to another car and take a guess.. ALSO DEAD. That should have been our time to go but my husband and I still purchased a brand new car from this dealership in.. back in May… when we attempted to make our first months payment we couldn’t and when we reached out to the loan company to try and pay they told us to wait because we don’t have a account just yet. Fast forward to end of July we find our castle never sent our paper work. So not only did our payment not get set up but WE WEREN'T EVEN OFFICIALLY APPROVED! We get that taken care of and move on to August the transmission of the brand new car fails.. I call castle to get in and was given the worst customer service… I was told that I needed to wait until Saturday and there are no loaners because loaners need to be scheduled out and they wouldn’t give me one.. mind you we are paying extra for the warranty we were told would cover any maintenance, loaners, etc… i asked to speak with a manger and have not been contacted. I will never do business with this place again and warn others before doing so. My car is being serviced at biggers in Elgin and we are being treated like proper paying customers. More
They got me right in for servicing. Staff was friendly and kept me informed throughout the process. Waiting room was comfortable. They sent me home with a newly washed car. Don’t trust Castle Autoplex in McHenry. I never had a problem with Gary Lang. The work I had done lately at Castle seems to be okay with no problems to this date. They are however deceptive in that they over charged me in the amount of $840.00. To explain, I have Car Shield and I contacted them after paying a bill I thought was to high. I was advised by Car Shield that the person they talked to at Castle said all I had to pay for the repairs was my deductible. The Business Manager, JR Arnold lied to me stating he did not receive a message a week prior to call me. He also lied stating he did not know why I wanted him to call. Yet he knew the service person I dealt with. When talking to him explaining what Car Shield stated, he said he didn’t care what that said that they are a third party. Use caution when dealing with Castle Autoplex. They are not there for the customer, just to make as much money they can from you. More
Brought several cars from Gary Lang and now Castle. Brought 2024 car off the showroom floor. So with only 6000 miles I got a nail on the outside of tire. Had to get new tire.La So i said could u give a better deal on a new tire, Service dept said talk to your sales person , So I did, Henry La, He did not do anything for me, at least he could have given me a little cheaper price, $300 on a 1 tire, have no problem buying for a new tire, just thought they could have went a little cheaper on 1 tire More
The service advisor at Castle Chevrolet knew that I couldn't financially afford the cost of the new tires on my vehicle. Very helpful & helped lower my bill with a coupon & using my GM points to pay part of my bill. Also had an employee come to my home & pick up my auto & also returned it after the service work was completed my GM points to pay part of my bill. If there was a way to leave ZERO stars I would. Bought my vehicle from Gary Lange at the time which is now Castle. Poor communication, I left multiple voicemails for a call back with questions and concerns and NEVER had a return call. EXTREMELY poor customer service. They had my Chevy for 3 days, was never officered a courtesy vehicle and I have two small children. I spoke with Dino who was very rude and treated me like I was a dumb woman. They claim they are unable to order the part to fix my vehicle. We called around to other dealerships and they are able to get the part and fix my vehicle. we will no longer be returning for buying new vehicles or services. & will not refer friends or family here. More
