He listened to what I wanted in a car and found exactly that at a wonderful price. I never felt pushed or manipulated to buy. He addressed every question I had, which was a lot, and was very patient and again not pushy during the process. I would absolutely recommend Gary Lang and Mark Lindner to anyone looking for a car. GUESS THEY DIDN'T WANT MY BUSINESS. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! I had pre ordered a 2015 WRX, but Nelson Garcia was able to get me a better deal through Gary Lang Subaru. I cancelled my pre order, and was working w I had pre ordered a 2015 WRX, but Nelson Garcia was able to get me a better deal through Gary Lang Subaru. I cancelled my pre order, and was working with Nelson regarding pricing for a few options. He was supposed to get back to me, but I didn't hear from him in a week's time. He said his manager was the only person who could get him pricing and that he was on vacation. It seems highly unlikely that only one manager would be able to price options for a vehicle. After the week had passed, I tried constantly to get in touch with Nelson via phone, as well as email, but he never got back to me.... I called the dealership again and spoke with another salesman, Joe. He got me in contact with their manager, Ed Lowitzki, but instead of Ed speaking with me directly, he had Joe speak to me on his behalf. I told Joe that I was ready to order my vehicle that day, and would put down a deposit as long as someone would get back to me. As a manager, I would think Ed would want to speak with me, especially since I was ready to move forward with my order that day. I didn't hear back from Ed or Nelson for a few days, so I reached out to Ed. He told me that he would get back to me with my financing numbers, but he never did. I called him and left him a voice mail stating that I would give them one more opportunity to keep my business, but no one called back. In the end, I ended up going back to my original salesman, and put down a deposit for the same vehicle I had cancelled a month back. I would/will NEVER recommend Gary Lang, not just Subaru, but Gary Lang as a whole dealership to anyone. Their lack of communication, and overall professionalism was greatly unacceptable. More
Just wanted to get pricing All I wanted was to get internet pricing on a car so I filled out a form online. Instead what I got were daily emails if my email address was valid. Then I asked to be removed from the mailing list and now I'm getting emails about when I'm going to come in and test drive a car. This is the second time I've tried to purchase a car from here and both times have been totally dismal experiences. I'd recommend going elsewhere. More

I traded my 2009 Forester in February at Gary Lang and purchased a 2012 Subaru from them. Within a week I noticed the seats were getting warm for some reason. The dealer in Bloomington took a look and informed me there were after market seatwarmers in the car and I hit the switch with my leg. I was never told of any seatwarmers, let alone 3rd party, when i purchased the vehicle. A month later, I get in my car and the ceiling is leaking in 3 areas from the sunroof. Turns out this was also 3rd party installed, which I was also NOT told on purchase, and it has a design flaw which will be difficult to fix. I called the dealer and was blown off by the salesman to his manager who NEVER RETURNED MY CALL. I would not have purchased this vehicle had I known there were third party installations. BUYER BEWARE! More
Making Dreams Possible If you have a dream car, and Gary Lang sells it, they will do everything possible to get you in that vehicle. Even if you don't think you can qualify, If you have a dream car, and Gary Lang sells it, they will do everything possible to get you in that vehicle. Even if you don't think you can qualify, give them a chance and they will find a way! I've bought three cars there, and in each instance they found a way to fulfill my ridiculous demands. While waiting for the service to be completed, they took the time provide pros and cons regarding my questions and provided additional areas I did not even think about. In effect they provided the knowledge for me to be able to conclude which car to purchase in the future-- a KIA. T J Collins and Jamie Edwards (Service Dept) should be given a pat on their backs and promoted to salesmen. Sales person Pam Zimansky. took a great interest in making sure I purchased a vehicle that I was happy with, that included everything I wanted. Everyone from the person in finance to the tech who showed me how to program and use the features in my car were very friendly and helpful and I could tell they wanted me to have the very best car buying experience possible.
