Well, no one likes to take their car into the shop, but at least I know that Mike Bullus, my service technician, will always treat me with respect and professionalism. Mike always, only fixes what is broken and looks for the best deals for me as well. He tells me things that need my immediate attention and then suggests future work that will keep my car running longer. I always feel well taken care of and appreciated as a customer. Two different services one took from 8 am to 2pm for oil change, second for my driver seat, had my car 3 days with no loaner available. Had my vehicle for 5.5 months (Aug 27, 2020 thru Feb 10, 2021). Service Engine Soon light on & hood latch issues not present when taken in-refused to fix w/o charging me. Told by AJ that they are not responsible once I leave the lot even though I informed them the same evening that I picked the car up about the hood issue. Scheduled an appt & arrived to have the hood latch issue addressed. I asked to speak with the Chris Culp, Service Manager & was told that he was in a meeting but they would absorb the cost of labor but not the parts for replacing both hood locks & cable. Go to answer is the age of the car (2000) & the next person that pulled the hood release could have been responsible even though 10 mins after leaving the dealership I noticed the problem & informed them...sent AJ a video & his answer was that they can't be responsible for everything that happens to my vehicle going forward & they only opened the hood a few times over 5.5 months. If the initial work needed only required the hood to be opened a few times over that period of time, that clearly tells me that my vehicle was not worked on consistently to address the initial issues. No concern for the fact that we were down to one vehicle for 5.5 months, customer satisfaction or safety...the hood releases on its own...had to stop twice on the interstate to close it on my way to the appt because the hood was bouncing up and down & not secure. The SES light-told when I picked it up that a new AC compressor was needed, (had my vehicle for 5.5 months & never said anything about it until I picked it up) however, no driveability issues will occur until the summer when I run the AC...in the meantime, you just have to get used to the light being on. After all the work done & length of time, AJ told me that the AC compressor was an issue from the beginning. I'm amazed that the SM never called me during the 5.5 months, however, I received several emails about scheduled service for the vehicle even though it was in their possession the whole time. Finally, my inspection sticker expired & I didn't notice it until after I left the lot...was told that they didn't notice it either because they were so focused on getting my car fixed. If there was a true & concerted focus /effort on fixing my vehicle, it would not have taken 5.5 months and someone paying attention should have given me a courtesy call or should have informed me during one of my many visits during the 5.5 month time period to say that the inspection was due in Jan 2020. More

To service my M240i, the dealership picked up my car at my home in Williamsburg and left a loaner car at no charge. My car was ready the next day and the service department accepted a coupon for a $100 dis my home in Williamsburg and left a loaner car at no charge.
